Q: Is the leak proof silicone inside the lid removable to wash?

A: Hello from Ello! We do not recommend removing the silicone gasket on the interior of the lid. While they can be reinstalled, damage or warping can occur during washing/removal.

We love this line of food storage containers! They are leak proof and easy to clean. I love the silicone bottom that lets me take hot food out of the microwave without burning my fingers. I love the versatility of them. The only thing that I haven’t loved so far is a couple of them have chipped on the lip. Still giving 5 stars because it hasn’t affected them in any way so far and we use them daily!

It's a breeze to clean (the top can be a little trickier if you get it dirty). Don't drop it but if you're careful, glass containers are the way to go.

Very nice size, closes so easily and keeps things very fresh. Easy to keep clean even with the silicone bottom. I never really used glass storage containers before but I might make the switch over as there's no stains and super easy to clean out.

This size is deep enough for a good dip or personal sized soup. Easy to open unless you put something hot in then it will create suction.
