eufy Security by Anker Smart Wi-Fi 2K Add-On Video Doorbell

Eufy item was in process of updating version and for some reason either never fully completed updating or reverted back to previous version. Also, not sure why it reverts to B&W mode bc it can record in color. Target items seem to always have some issue and I am trying to avoid having to experience more of these issues.

This camera offered me 75% of that security relief. I like how the camera splits and gives a top and bottom view for deliveries. They only thing its slight delay before it records. Other than that its a great buy

Very easy to install and can be install with no knowledge and one person set up! This is a add on camera so you would have to own a HomeBase from Eufy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon installing the eufy doorbell I realized that you need to also have the base unit for it to work since it is not a cloud storage doorbell...I purchased the base unit and installed it inside my home...after that was all complete which was very easy to install everything works great with great video quality and i am also using a pretty big SD card in my base unit so I can store over a month of video from the door bell. Highly recommended but just know that you have to also have a base unit but that takes away any monthly bill for cloud storage like other brands of door bells.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Anker eufy security system is a great addition to any home. The 2k HD battery powered video doorbell is a fantastic product. It does everything that all the other items like this do on the market and with a brand name like ANKER it was sure to impress. The Video doorbell system has great image resolution and makes people and things easy to identify. The only downfall is when the system is set to human detection it has a few second delay and often times the individual is already at the door before the notification comes through; when paired with other items of the eufy security system this issue is easily resolved! Would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used Ring for a couple of years and decided to renew this system with Eufy system. The doorbell is super easy to install and connect to Wi-Fi . While this is a battery-powered wireless doorbell you can also hook it up to your existing wires so you do not have to charge the battery, this is very slick. The wiring was not tricky at all, you simply connect the 2 wires to the back of the doorbell. The picture, night vision, and view angle are incredible. I connected this doorbell two a 2 camera Eufy 2C Pro camera system. The app and installation are super easy to follow and the number of customization options for scheduling and options within the app works flawlessly. It is super easy to change the settings, notifications, schedule, etc. Make sure you update the firmware for the doorbell within the app when you go to install. We got it about month ago and so far it works great!

You need Wifi to connect the HOMEBASE to your router Just connect by wire first set it up in the app then click settings and you can connect via wifi and ditch the wire.( use same Wi-Fi on your fone and for homebase2 during setup).It also works with Alexa. I m using this doorbell from more than a week and it works great and battery still working you can see on app how much battery left.you don’t need to pay a subscription fee or any monthly fee.pictures quality is very clear and picks up everything that I need to see. You receive notification when somebody cross front of the door and you can see who’s outside. All clips save in events you can delete that clips or leave there.The sound is great and very clear(it’s a 2 way conversation). While this is a battery-powered wireless doorbell you can also hook it up to your existing wires so you do not have to charge the battery, this is very slick. Doorbell holder is a thin plastic which I don’t like I prefer metal holder. Meke sure buy a doorbell kit ( doorbell and homebase2 together)because without homebase2 you can’t use doorbell and hard to find and buy separate homebase2.overall I like this doorbell it’s very useful.

Set up took a little bit but once we got it hooked up I was very happy with the quality of the video and the sound. I feel like this camera is going to come in handy in multiple situations. I highly recommend If you’re looking for something that’s decently priced and great quality.

I did have some difficulty setting it up after first opening it. Im not sure if its worth it considering you have to buy the original system first in order to use this one

Being a single mother this was the added security support that I needed in my neighborhood. Not only is it great to see who’s knocking at my door without getting up (hello mail call) but the notification of when someone is near my doors make me and my child feel much safer! Plus I get to see who is coming in and out of my home when my teen is supposed to be home alone!! LOL

The picture is very clear with its 2k resolution. The installation was fairly simple. Most of the time was spent doing configuration, but this wasn't difficult either. I would recommend this doorbell camera for anyone looking to have a spare set of eyes on their house. It really comes in handy and has made things a lot easier at home.
