It is BHMA certified. ("Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association (BHMA®) is the only organization accredited by the America National Standards Institute (ANSI) to develop and maintain performance standards for locks, closers, exit devices and other builders hardware." Its black box design has a sleek, modern look and it was fairly easy to set up and install following the directions. So far, it works as advertised.

I am a big supporter in advanced technology, and this is definitely one of those that makes my house feel secure at night and we are away. I have no had any issues using it and recommend it to anyone that wants to get in their house quick! If my husband can install this then you definitely can he has no electrical experience and you don’t either!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been wanting a lock for my door that I didn’t need a physical key to open. The Eufy smart lock is exactly what I had in mind. It has an app that you need to install, then you can set up a fingerprint and a code to open the lock. You do get multiple physical keys that you can also use. I typically use the app to open the lock when I’m coming home from work so I can just open the door when I get there. The battery that comes with the unit needs charged, and does come with a compatible charger. I have had no trouble with the battery. If it needs charged soon, I plan on doing that overnight.

I don't have to worry about locking my door because I can set a time for it to automatically lock by itself! Even if someone leaves within the locked time the lock will lock itself again!! the fingerprint recognition is a life saver as well not having to worry about a key or passcode.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this lock installed for just about a month, and while the lock works well and looks nice, there have been some speedbumps along the way that might deter some purchasers. I appreciate the unit's solid construction and high-quality parts, and while I have not needed it as of yet, I know eufy has a strong customer service department to provide help to those who may need it. Installing the product was relatively easy, but I can see how the process would be difficult for someone without a ton of door hardware installation knowledge. All necessary hardware was included in the box, all you need is your own tools. Once the lock was installed, I immediately experienced some Wi-Fi connectivity issues, with the lock disconnecting and reconnecting frequently even though our router is only 20 unobstructed feet from the front door. These issues have continued, but not been nearly as frequent. I occasionally get the notificaiton on my phone that the lock has disconnected form the Wi-Fi, only to get a reconnected notification soon therafter. As for using the lock, the fingerprint reader can be a bit finicky if your finger isn't clean and dry, but the other opening options have made this not a very noticible issue, as you may unlock the unit viawith your phone through the app or use the keypad entry methods. I really like the auto-lock feature, however I have noticed that occasionally the unit will auto-lock itself after the set time even while the door is left opened (like when running out to grab mail), which means needing to disengage the lock before you cna shut your door and rengage the lock. Also, I have been fortunate to not have yet run into any battery charging issues, which a handful of other purchasers have mentioned. I have not yet had to recharge the unit after a month of regular use. Overall, the lock is a sturdy unit that looks nice (albeit a bit large) when installed. If you can get over the small issues mentioned above, I think this would prove to be a good purchase. Just make sure you are a bit handy wiht tools and tech, and I don't think you will have any issues wiht this eufy locking system.

I love that if I'm doing something around the house or even in the back patio I can simply log in into my phone to lock or unlock the house. I added four different codes for everyone in the house and it's just great. I like that it has the code as a back up. Also the installation was so easy, simple and fast along with setting up the app, It's simple amazing I recommend it!

Auto-lock when the door is closed - this is a useful feature. 4. Fingerprint data is stored locally and not on the cloud 5. Looks really good. Cons 1. I don't know if the auto-lock can be turned ON/OFF. Haven't figured that out yet. 2. Unable to connect to Alexa/Google Assistant. 3. Lock needs wifi adapter to work with wifi, else you need to be within bluetooth range to be able to unlock from the phone. Overall rating 5/5

The directions on the manual were very easy to read. I installed the smart lock in less than 20 mins. Now setting the fingerprint and code was super easy. I love how you can unlock and lock the smart lock from your phone. The fingerprint recognition works amazing because it recognizes your fingerprint fast. Also, putting in the passcode is super easy and simple. Overall, this is an amazing smart lock because I get the peace of mind I didn’t leave my door open this gives me reassurance if my door is locked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Smart Lock because of a video we saw on TV where two boys saw a Smoke coming from the inside of a house and called the owner and the owner told them to save their dogs and the way they got In was by entering the Code on their Smart Lock. That video made me get this Smart lock for our house because we have two pets at home and we sometimes go out on weekends. Having Smart Lock will definitely help our Pets get help right away while we're out. It's even more smarter when this Smart Lock is connected to an App. This is Awesome!. The installation could not be more easier and since we already have one and we know how it works now, we plan to get another one for our backdoor soon.

We got this lock so that if we got locked out we could use the pin code or fingerprint scanner to get in. It certainly does both of those well. I also feel futuristic and cool right now.

It took my husband less than 30 minutes, and that includes the time for him to read the entire manual. It’s really easy to add fingerprints to the system as well. I love that my son can get in and out without worrying about leaving the door unlocked or losing a key. A great feature is the auto lock timer. You set a time you want the door to automatically lock, in case you do leave it open during the day. It gives me peace of mind knowing the lock just takes care of itself. Now we just need to upgrade our front door to look as nice as the lock does.

Setup was a breeze. We set up a passcode to lock/unlock the door. It also has my families fingerprints stored for really easy access. The lock also came with keys (just in case!) The lock looks very stylish as well!

My Husband and Son are always losing their keys and I've been known to lock my keys in the house. I don't have to worry about this issue anymore! This is a solid lock and it works very quickly. Easy to use and install. There are multiple ways to open the door using this smart lock including key use with their special made keys. I love the fingerprint unlocking system. I am very impressed with this smartlock and would recommended it to anyone.
