Not sure why this filter gets so much hate. I’ve been purchasing this same one 3 times now every 6 months with my new home and taste is 10/10. I see no difference and haven’t had any issues. I just replace it every 6 months per instruction and then I’m fine. I drink about a gal of water every day too.

I purchased this product knowing my filter would need to be replaced. When I finally replaced it, it is making a rumbling noise when i run the water or it makes ice. All trouble shooting tells me it is the new filter.

I have been using this filter for a while but the last one that I received is not working properly and since we installed we are having problems with the water dispenser and ice maker. We are out of ice and since yesterday we have not water either. My husband has been taking the filter out and put it back to be able to get water but since yesterday that is not working either. We think that this filter has already damaged the motor too.

I am a refrigerator filter (EDR1RXD1 single pack) repeat customer from this company. My concern is that once received, upon opening unit, there is absolutely no safety seal indicating it is a brand new unit and not previous opened; thus ensuring water filtration quality.

The last time we had to redo our filter in our fridge, it took us four filters to redo it. And now we have to do it again and so far we have gone through two and no luck. The filters seem to be not filtering. As if there’s a manufacturing problem. It is not the fridge or the hose hook up. It is the filter.

Unfortunately this rating has to be given since this is now my 2nd filter that has stopped working after 2 months. The water does not flow properly it goes from a good flowing stream to trickling out. Takes forever to fill up a water bottle the ice cubes are also paper thin due to the lack of water flow from the filter.

Defective filters

We have a subscription with every drop and have received these filters for a long time, but the last two filters don't work. They don't engage in the fridge and water doesn't dispense. If we tape a little rubber piece at the bottom of the filter and then when we close the filter door it engages, but now, even that doesn't work. When we place back an old filters, it works fine, so it's obvious the manufacturing is defective on the last two filters we received. Who do we contact for a claim? These are super expensive and it's very frustrating now that I have to buy filtered water now. I hope someone reads this, because I do not want to pay for a repairman to come here when it is clear both new filters are not working and are defective.

I recently purchased an Every Drop water filter after doing some research that led me to believe I was investing in a quality product. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disastrous. First and foremost, the filter lasted a mere two weeks before its performance deteriorated significantly. Initially, I was impressed with the crispness of the water, but it quickly became evident that the filter could not hold up to its promises. My once-refreshing water now tasted plastic-like and unappetizing, which was incredibly disheartening considering I had hoped for clean, pure H2O. When I contacted Every Drop’s customer support, I expected a level of service that matched the premium price of their product. Instead, I was met with indifference and unhelpful responses. Their representatives seemed more concerned with protecting their brand than genuinely addressing my concerns. After several back-and-forth emails with no real resolution, I felt like I was speaking to a brick wall. Their “support” team is anything but supportive; it’s as if they were trained to deflect complaints rather than solve them. Additionally, the lack of a meaningful warranty or satisfaction guarantee only exacerbated my frustrations. I understand that no product is perfect, but with a filter that barely made it past the two-week mark, I expected some accountability or, at the very least, a replacement. Instead, I was given the runaround and a series of generic apologies devoid of any real action or concern. In conclusion, my experience with Every Drop water filters has been an absolute letdown. If you're looking for a water filter that actually delivers on its promises and comes with reliable customer support, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. This company clearly has its priorities misaligned; their filters may look good on the shelf, but they fall woefully short in performance and customer care. Save your money and your peace of mind—steer clear of Every Drop!

Came with my new Whirlpool fridge mod wsr311sdhm and does not filter out chlorine at all. We are having to use a Brita filtered water pitcher which does remove the chlorine. Very frustrating

We used to buy these and they used to completely filter out the chlorine. Lately I've been tasting chlorine in my water and I took my pool test kit to only find out that there is almost just as much chlorine as the regular tap water I was disgusted I will never buy this again we are going to find some other way to filter out our water

No matter what I do, I cannot get this filter to work in my Whirlpool fridge, even though it's the same filter as the one I'm replacing. After struggling with it for 3 days, I went online to find help only to find multiple complaints about the very same issue from others, with no resolution. Can't return it, so it'll go in the trash. Beware- such a waste!
