The Modern Layer decorative curtain rod and finial set features a contemporary style and modern design with a matte finish iron rod and coordinating cast resin, sphere shape finials with a raised metal look. This set will provide a visually balanced appearance for your window treatments. The 2.5" diameter x 2.3" long finials will insure that your window curtain panels will remain securely on the rod. The 1" diameter iron adjustable curtain rod is designed to fit a wide range of window widths, and has a sturdy 25 lb. capacity that will support flowing sheers to thermal blackout panels. The 3.5" fixed depth projection bracket provides a gracious amount of space for fabrics to drape perfectly. Accommodates window curtain panels and drapes that are designed with various tops, including: rod pocket, pinch pleat, clip rings, grommets, tab top, or hidden back tab top. I was a little stressed to buy these, because of the reviews, but the look was exactly what I wanted. I’m happy I bought them tho. The end ball was heavy and seems to be study as well as the rod and it’s thick, it looks perfect.

Simple installation
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect curtain rod for just about any room! I love how the silver is matte and not shiny and the rod it's self isnt very heavy so it was very easy for me to set up and install by myself. The finials screw in and are a little smaller than a baseball. Overall I recommend the Exclusive Homes Modern rod in silver!

Easily adjustable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Exclusive Home Modern Layer 1 in curtain rod about 3 weeks ago which is perfect timing to freshen up the house for spring. I love that it is easily adjustable and also came with the brackets and hardware to hang on the wall. This calls for NEW CURTAINS!!! I’m thinking a sheer cream color to match my new comforter. I love that the curtain rod is black because it’s a very versatile color, and the decorative balls on the ends make is simple, yet classy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with my new Exclusive Home Modern Layer 1-in. Curtain Rod! It is the perfect sleek design for my newly redone living room. I installed it to hold my curtains over my glass door to my patio. The curtains I have are very thick blackout curtains, meaning they are pretty heavy. This new curtain rod doesn’t skip a beat. Holds up my heavy curtains like a champ. The style also matches perfectly with new new decor as well. Super sturdy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I got the rod I set it up in my daughters room because I was in need of one. I used the rod and was able to set it up very easily. I was able to place a heavy blackened curtains and rod held up. This rod is very well made, very stylish and I love the color because matched with my daughter room color. I also like the design at each end of the rod is very detailed. I really recommend this rod for anyone looking a very sturdy and very stylist rod.

Cheap, poorly designed product
Target management, read your reviews. The short version of this rod works fine. I ordered 4 and they arrived undamaged. The longer version, however, arrived with a broken finial and was returned and reordered. The second had a totally shattered finial and was again reordered. On the third try, the finial had a slight chip and I planned to touch this up and install. When I tried to put together the middle extension pole with the side poles, one side would not connect properly. Rather than making longer side poles, the design uses a middle pole that is the same length and shape, minus finial, as one of the side poles. This does not work! I am frustrated with having to make multiple Target runs to return and reorder. I am returning the whole lot. Not what I have come to expect from Target, good merchandise at reasonable prices!
