Directions

Directions cover the entire affected area with a thin layer and rinse thoroughly one to three times daily if bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor.

Q: I’m so confused! Rinse off or not?! Directions tell us to rinse off. I applied as face wash but doesn’t seem right, not foamy and kind of just feels like lotion as I’m rinsing off.

  • A: We just bought some because we were out of the Neutrogena one we had. Exact same thing but Neutrogena says to cleanse face first then put it on. So no rinse. Target needs to fix their directions. Lol

While salicylic acid is a common ingredient in both cleansers and moisturizers, they are designed for different purposes and should be used accordingly.   • A: Hi, I was also confused about this,l so I looked at moisturizers with .5% salicylic acid from other brands to see what those instructions said. None of them mentioned rinsing. I’ve tried using it both ways and in my experience it’s been fine to leave on (not rinse)

FAVORITE MOISTURIZER

I thought it worked pretty well.

Combo/oily skin, can definitely get acne flare ups here and there as an adult. This has helped me a lot! Just start slow, especially if you’re using the target brand cleanser that has the salicylic acid in it as well as it can be a bit much if you have really sensitive skin or just start using all these new products/chemicals at once. Just do your research a bit for your skin :)

Unpleasant smell, but doesnt break me out

Okay, yes, this has a scent that isn’t the greatest, but I use this at night (bc this could make skin more sensitive in the sun), so it doesn’t bother me much. I will say this stuff works. It makes my skin glow without making it break out. It is one of the only moisturizers that I’ve tried that doesn’t break me out.

Smells fine to me! Absorbs great to!

I can’t speak on long term effects but first impressions are it absorbs great and leaves my skin soft. You only need a small amount! About the smell, I don’t know if y’all got a bad batch but it smells completely normal?? There’s no added perfumes like another reviewer said so there’s literally no smell, it smells like nothing. Maybe like a unscented lotion if I had to compare? Don’t let those reviews scare you 😅

The smell of this is nauseating

If you have sensory issues with smells, stay away from this. It smells repulsive. I don’t know why it smells so awful but you can smell it the entire time it’s on your face. It smells like melted plastic mixed with old milk and chemicals. It’s very runny and also sticky and you will have hair stuck to your face as well.

VILE Scent!

I was in need of a new facial moisturizer and ordered this one from Target. Typically, I love Up&Up products, but I am so disappointed with this moisturizer. It has the most vile smell! And the smell sticks around all day! Even after putting my makeup on, all I can smell all day is the horrible scent of this moisturizer. If I had to find another smell to compare it to, I would compare it to vomit.
