We love this thing! The F.A.O. Schwarz lightning plasma ball is seriously cool — it works great and looks amazing whether it's on a desk, nightstand, or just lighting up the room for fun. The touch response is perfect — super smooth and always reacts when you put your fingers on it. As for the sound/music feature, it’s not super sensitive, but it does respond well if the music is loud or if you shout. It won’t pick up soft sounds easily, but honestly, that hasn’t stopped us from loving it. It’s fun, eye-catching, and always a conversation piece. If I could do it all over again, I’d buy it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a bit of science-meets-style in their space!

DOESN'T WORK
Never worked. Bought it, plugged it in, I could hear the motor working inside but never worked.

Randomly Shattered
My son received this as a gift for Christmas from his grandparrents. Looked pretty cool but only lasted three hours. We were sitting on the sofa and heard a the glass shatter behind us. My son had gone over touched the ball and it just hattered. I know he did not tip it because he was only a few feet behind us an the base was up right, we never heard any thing fall. He said he went to touch it and it just exploded. He moved his hand just in time to not get hurt from the glass. Not cool :(

Shattered immediately poor design
Poor design! This GLASS ball has 3 legs and is unstable. It fell over and shattered almost immediately and was one of my son’s birthday presents. The glass is thin. It’s Dangerous. The good reviews on this are PAID FOR . Zero stars!

Super cool toy!

I plan on taking it to my classroom in the fall since I am a third grade teacher, and I know that the kids will love it Overall it is a very neat toy and I think kids would enjoy it

Unfortunately being that my son is a 10 year old boy he dropped it and it shattered to be careful it is very much glass (thin glass) and is not very durable if dropped. We both loved it while it lasted!

That I myself find myself playing with it when I am inside of my daughter room! I’d love if the sold a bigger one for adult! I’d highly recommend one!

I had one as a kid so being able to gift this to my kids was amazing. It’s brightly colored and the reaction inside is bright and follows your fingers and hands great! It also went to music and sounds where my kids would have a “dance party” with it!! It was so much fun and a great piece for their room!!
