Q: How do you open this framed change photos?

  • A: Thanks for the tip about removing the foam pieces. Keep them on hand though. You will want to reinsert them once you have the picture placed in the frame. They will keep it from slipping out. Regarding the decals, they can easily be removed from the glass using a little "Goo Gone" and a razor blade. Then clean the glass with hydrogen peroxide and a paper towel.

  • A: There are three, thin pieces of foam on the inside of the frame (between glass and metal). If you take those out, the glass slides out of the frame. I used tweezers to help remove the foam.

  • A: Hello Lisa - We appreciate your interest for this item. The foam pieces in the Floating Frame Satin Black are designed to be pulled out from the side channels using a tool, or compressed by the glass to slide the glass out.   • A: Hello Rere - We apologize for the challenge with opening the frame. Hopefully the following helps: There are a couple pieces of foam holding the glass against the frame walls. Press on the glass toward the back of the frame to compress the foam and slide the back glass piece out. Or if it is easier, you can remove the foam inserts in the sides of the frame which allows the glass to slide out. Then just replace the foam once the new picture is placed in the frame. - Melodee

    Easy to use & modern style

    Love these! They give a very modern look to my shelves - so much better than a traditional frame! The easy instructions are on the reverse in both illustrations and written so super fast to assemble. I actually spray painted the black metal to brushed silver to match my decor.

    Cute Frame

    Love these frames. You can hang them or they can sit. I cut my pictures to fit inside the whole frame and did not use it as a floating frame. I'm not sure why people are having such a hard time figuring out how to take them apart to get the picture in...mine had great instructions. Also, people complaining about getting the picture to stay in the center of the frame if using it as a floating frame, all you need is a piece of double sided tape.

    Perfect frame!

    Perfect! I used it to frame a picture from the Eras concert I went to and sprinkled some craft glitter around the glass edges to be kept in place. Gave it as a gift to my mom who went to the concert with me and she loved it! Very easy to display and went and bought another one for myself!

    Very cute. Looks chic when done right… HINT: To keep photo centered and not sliding, place a small piece of double stick tape on the back of the photo and apply it to back glass then place the top glass on top, then slide into black frame and add foam back in. :)

    Love these...read here how to assemble

    These frames are beautiful! And once you learn how to put the picture in, it’s very simple. You have to use a pen to pry out and then pull on the foam pieces. Then the glass slips out. You also need to use some tape to secure the picture to the back glass so it stays in place. I rolled two pieces of tape and placed my picture carefully. I wish Target would put these instructions on the label.

    Follow directions to avoid confusion

    It was confusing at first but I went to the reviews and figured out how to do it. After doing it I also realized there was directions on the back that can be followed. I used the little tape pieces they already had centering their photo to center mine. It is very simple and nice.

    Poor design
