A: Mine has shed alot! You can't tell by looking at the rug, it still looks great. I have hardwoods throughout and the shedded fibers end up all over my apartment. Definitely recommend regular vacuuming. I've had mine for 1 year.

A: Yes, at first it does shed a bit. I use a hardwood floor setting on the vacuum to help. I've had my rug for a year and I would say after a couple months the shedding subsided!

A: Yes, it does shed fibers, especially when new and if you go over it with a vacuum. We have a neato robotic vacuum that pulls little piles of fiber from the rug, but it is not noticeable on the rug itself. It is however frustrating to see the little piles lined up around the edges of the rug. Overall, this is a fantastic rug and I absolutely love it! Just beware that it will shed at first and you should use a hardwood floor setting when vacuuming to avoid the rug being brushed.

A: Mine sheds like crazy! I vacuum/sweep every day because there are fibers all over my beautiful new hard wood floors. Shopping for a different option :( I wonder if mine was faulty. I'm tempted to buy another one because I love the color/design so much.

A: I was hoping that like the smaller size .. it would pull more of the border s tan hue. However the 9x12 had a lighter brighter look as the center has a more open design showinh a lot of the cream.

A: I think that the fibers vary in color because it's a natural fiber. I also think because they are handwoven each rug may not be exactly the same. I think that adds character to the rug because it is not made by a machine. Note the video about child labor .

A: The Indigo Rug has navy, light blue, cream and a khaki-beige. Placed next to a bright white, the khaki-beige has a greenish hue.

A: The rug is nice enough that I've had guests comment and ask where they could find one. It's not like a hand made Turkish rug, of course, but it's soft to walk on and has held up well to moderate traffic for over a year now - still looking brand new. No pilling or pulls or fraying like that.

A: Not non-skid. We have the 5x8 area rug and the hallway runner. The backing is soft-non scratch on both. We have a skid protector under the runner. No need for it in the area rug. It's big and heavy so doesn't move. Plus we have a table sitting on it.

A: No it is not. But the rug is very nice. You could use a rug pad underneath.

A: I own this area rug. The predominant color scheme is blue. Several different shades, from navy (not black) to light blue-grey. What you perceive as mustard is beige.

A: This rug is very Blue with an off white to white background.  I expected it to be gray too.  I kept it because the. Lie happened to match but found it to be a. Awkward color to match.  Can't find pillows, curtains, etc in the same shade of blue.
