Overall helpful, but 2 things I wish different

I'm a huge fan of Frida Mom and Baby products. These were far better than the hospital-given mesh underwear, but I expected a bit more from the Frida Mom ones. I understand that they're disposable, but when I put the extra long pads you're supposed to wear during recovery, I found that they stuck so strongly to the underwear that when I went to change the pad, the whole underwear would rip. It was SO one-time use, which I know may be normal, but I wish this disposable underwear could at least handle 2 pads. Also when pulling it up, it easily tears if you're not delicate. Less concerning but another opportunity: because my belly is bigger post-birth, I found that by the time to you pull up the underwear to appropriately cover the belly, the back/behind is shorter. Overall though, I appreciated this underwear, especially in comparison to the mesh ones.

Wanted to love, but was too scratch for me

The material and everything were fine, but personally I found the underwear to feel too scratchy on my skin around my incision area which was a bit sensitive. I'm a bit disappointed that it didn't work out, but I think it's just my own sensitive skin.

Stretchy, comfortable, and works well to hold pads for postpartum bleeding.

I used this after my c-section and they were great! So comfortable and they don’t feel bulky like the hospital ones. I wish I would have known about this with my first birth.

Not for c-section recovery

These were way too scratchy against my c-section incision - I initially found them unwearable. After a few weeks when I had healed a bit more they no longer irritated my wound/stitches and were great to have. Probably great for vaginal delivery.

Essential product post c-section

I was not anticipating having a c-section but bought both the c-section box just in case. Super happy I did! Everything in it has been helpful as I recover. I have continued to buy several more boxes of the disposable underwear. They aren’t the most attractive underwear but who cares! I really appreciated them being soft and high waisted. It was hard to wear regular underwear for a while due to the scar and I bled for several weeks. These were basically the only thing I could wear for the first month.

These run very small and fall down. Don't waste the money, just use the ones from the hospital! Terrible design and no stretch.

Only wish I had bought more than one box!

If you don’t want to wear adult diapers, these are the next best thing! With added pad of course. I found them so comfortable and wish I had bought more than one box - I didn’t realize how many I would need with this being our first pregnancy. Esp as I ended up having an episiotomy - comfort is high on the agenda right now. Very breathable fabric and it feels like you’re hardly wearing anything at all. I like how high up they come and if you had a c section I can imagine it would be fine. I am a UK size 10 (US size 4/6) and got the Regular size. I can’t even remember what they cost but whatever it was, it was worth it to make the whole after birth experience just that little more comfortable

I wanted to love these, but instead I sobbed as I ripped pair after pair trying to get them to fit my plus sized postpartum body. These are not size inclusive, so skip it and use the hospital ones (that are honestly so comfy) if you're plus sized.

Made me feel comfortable after having my daughter, I used these for almost two weeks before I was ready to feel comfortable in my own again. These made me feel so much better than with my first where I had on almost an adult diaper. This is waaaay better, makes you feel more yourself!

Actually comfortable

I never thought I'd classify disposable underwear as "comfortable" but these definitely for the bill. During my post partum healing, my underwear was the least of my worries, and I wore them for a lot longer then I needed to. For size reference, pre-pregnancy I wore a size 12/14, and I gained 30 pounds in pregnancy.

Love them buuuttt…

I love the underwear and the material feels really nice in comparison with the hospital ones, BUUT because I am big size women, usually wear an XL, I find that the leg are to narrow for my body type. Maybe made a couple more sizes. The wait for perfectly but the legs whole had to cut them a little on the sides to fit me. I don’t find anything else than that. Just hope for MORE SIZES in the near future :)

Unnecessary and uncomfortable

Don't waste your money on these. I bought several Frida mom products to prepare for the birth of my daughter. These underwear were so uncomfortable that I wore 1 pair on the way home from the hospital and changed out of them as soon as I arrived home. They are cut extremely wide in the crotch and caused additional pain due to the rough fabric rubbing against my skin. They are so hot to wear because they hardly breathe (I gave birth in October so it was cool outside). Buy full coverage breathable cotton underwear instead.

Came in handy

The boyshort disposable postpartum underwear came in very handy after having my last child. I really like the idea of these as you really don’t want to wear and ruin your good panties right after giving birth. The underwear was very comfortable and fit well.
