Within 15 minutes you will be enjoying soft, crunchy ice from this Frigidaire Ice Maker. Compact countertop design plugs into any electrical outlet at home and can come with you to your next camping or tailgate. No water hookup required! High capacity; produces 44lbs of ice per day and the bin will hold 3lbs at a time. Press "Clean" button to enter the automatic cleaning function. Important: This ice maker is designed to produce ice, not store it. The unit does not keep ice frozen once it is made. To prevent melting, transfer the ice to your freezer promptly after it is produced. The large viewing window and indicator lights let you know when the basket is full or when more water is needed. Black stainless steel design. Maintain optimal performance by cleaning your ice maker weekly to prevent scale buildup, particularly in areas in hard water. Please refer to your instructions manual for details.

Q: is this machine noisy?

A: The ice maker is reasonably quiet. The unit has a conventional compressor cooled refrigeration system - and if the unit is situated on a firm level surface with adequate clearance for ventilation, the amount of ambient noise will be minimal.

Q: I received this item as a gift. My machine powers on, and will not make ice. The cleaning cycle works, however, Ice button flashes, and it sounds like something is happening, however, no ice.

A: Hi Ana, if a mixture of potable water and household white vinegar at a ratio of 1:1 is not removing deposits, there are commercial icemaker cleaning products available for purchase in the marketplace.

We’ve had this ice maker for about 2 weeks. After a week it stopped making ice and making wild sounds! Sometimes it works most times it doesn’t all ALL the time it sounds like someone’s doing donuts/burnouts in my pantry. Also the ice bin doesn’t keep the ice cold and so when y oh take the bin out to empty it into a sore rate container to put in the fridge water gets everywhere. I recorded a video but target doesn’t have the option to upload a video I guess.

It looks good but it does not keep the ice frozen inside, and you have to keep turning the heavy machine around to drain the water out.

Love this product. Compact size, multiple size ice chunks produced FAST. This has been great for traveling on trips where we dont have access to ice as well as parties at home. Professional stainless steel outer construction is easy to clean and looks great

We seemed to always be out of ice. When having guest over it seemed as though the fridge ice maker couldn't keep up. Plus I don't have enough room in my freezer to store ice. So I went online to see what Target had to offer. I was turned off by the price at first, but I also didn't want cheap ice that melted so quickly. The ice is quality, the unit itself looks great on my bar.
