As a first-time smartwatch user and novice runner, I've been thoroughly impressed with the Garmin Forerunner 265. This watch has proven to be an invaluable training companion as I've embarked on my new running regime. One of the standout features for me has been the comprehensive fitness tracking capabilities. The large, easy-to-read display provides clear real-time metrics on pace, distance, heart rate, and more during my workouts. The GPS functionality is highly accurate, giving me reliable data on my routes and progress. Beyond just the basics, I've found the wealth of training insights provided by the watch to be incredibly useful. The sleep scoring feature, in particular, has offered valuable feedback on the quality of my rest and how it impacts my readiness for training. The training readiness score has also been remarkably accurate, helping me understand when I'm primed for a tough workout versus when I need to focus on recovery. The smartwatch connectivity, allowing me to receive notifications from my smartphone, is a convenient feature that helps me stay connected without constantly checking my device. While the music playback capabilities are a nice addition, I've found the process of downloading playlists to the watch to be somewhat cumbersome as a novice user. One area I would have appreciated more support is in the form of a built-in marathon training plan. As someone new to running, having a structured program to follow from the outset would have been helpful. Overall, the Forerunner 265 has been an excellent investment for someone new to both running and smartwatches. The wealth of fitness-tracking features, data insights, and training guidance make it a powerful tool for monitoring and improving my performance. I'm confident this watch will continue to be an invaluable companion as I progress in my running journey.

A month ago bought the Forerunner 265 upgraded from an Apple Ultra 2. Felt like the ultra was missing a lot of features that I need to level my fitness up and help me train for half marathon. I couldn’t be happier with its battery life and also its features that come with it. Has given me insights into my health.

I upgraded from a Forerunner 55 to the 265 and it's night and day. the additional functions are adding significant benefits to my running training, with the additional insights helping me push myself safely to become better. also, the fact that I can sync up music with it (I use Spotify) is really cool, as I can just grab the headphones and start running. overall, a great and meaningful upgrade!

I bought this Forerunner for my husband who had a major stroke 3 years ago to encourage him to walk, stay hydrated and to track his sleep. He can walk with difficulty with a cane, but he only has one functional hand and arm. But because it is touch screen, he can manipulate his watch by touching it with his nose. We opted for a simple watch face that is easy for him to read.

I love being able to track all the different stats from sleep to VO2 data. The accuracy of the GPS is far superior to any other watch brand I’ve tried on the market.
I have had this watch for 2 weeks.

As someone who is newer to running/training, this watch has plenty of features for the intermediate level runner! I’m still continuing to find new features everyday. Between structured interval settings and the screen analytics during a workout, this watch is worth every penny! I would recommend the Garmin Forerunner 265 to anyone!

I love the data the 265 captures. It’s very accurate with heart rate, steps, and if you’re running in the treadmill. Cool features and is quite the jump from my forerunner 55. More in depth for sure

I switched to the FR265 after 2 Fenix watches and a slew of other Forerunners. I love that the 265 does everything I need, but less extra stuff, in a package that’s smaller and much lighter. The AMOLED display is beautiful.
I love it! (minus one tiny thing)

I've had the watch for about three weeks now. It is replacing a beloved Forerunner 736xt. The only thing I don't love is that the screen stays dark until you move your arm to look at it. Then there is a fraction of a second lag that's a tiny bit annoying. That is vastly outweighed by all the things I love about it: --it is SUPER customizable. The main face can be customized using 10-20 starter formats, with customizable fields within each face, with customizable colors. --there's a compass, altimeter, and barometer!! --there's easily accessible alarms/timer/stopwatch --You can add and remove types of workouts, so I added SUP, and removed a few others --same as before you can control the format and fields of the data screens for each workout --there's a new "widget" screen that allows you have up to 10 shortcuts to your favorite features like history, alarms, compass, lock --unlocking the watch is easier (press-hold any button) --my primary use for the watch is open water swimming in Lake Michigan. That season is about to begin. I also love to use it for SUP outings to my "path" around a body of water. Also use it for cycling. --I don't use the watch for music/texting/phone but those features are available
Amazing

I was a little nervous switching to garmin because I have only had an Apple Watch.. this watch is way better.. I never used my Apple Watch for texting or talking anyways so the switch wasn’t a big deal for me. The GPS is way better, easy to use, love the run button, the sleep tracker is awesome! Garmin fan for life now.
