I would recommend updating the watch through the Garmin Express program on your computer. If you don't already have it installed, it can be downloaded at garmin.com/express. If that doesn't resolve the problem you're experiencing, please get in touch with our support team at the following link: http://ms.spr.ly/6426tujnO?

Phenomenal
This watch has been a game changer. I have tried many watches and lastly was using an Apple Watch Ultra, but this watch has much better GPS, way better battery life, and overall reduces my screen time anxiety. This is extremely rugged, and able to withstand a lot. Highly recommend. I recommend this for any level of outdoor enthusiasts. You will be really happy with this watch.

Beautiful display. Inaccurate elevation
I had 3 forerunner 955s over a year and each one’s elevation gain was inaccurate. Glad they have a warranty. This one proved no different. Inaccurate elevation. This watch reads anywhere from 35 to 65 percent higher than other gps units. GPS is good and other features are nice. So if you don’t care about accuracy in the elevation department, this is a great watch. Otherwise I would steer clear.

Great expiring
This watch is a bit pricey, but it's definitely very complete. I'm a triathlete, and I think this watch has everything a triathlete needs.

Still a great watch
Even with the 970 out now, the 965 is still an incredible and fully functional watch for most athletes.

I have been a dedicated Garmin user for years, and the Forerunner 965 has exceeded every one of my expectations. The upgrade to the brilliant, full-color AMOLED touchscreen is a game-changer. My training data, maps, and notifications are clearer and more vibrant than ever, allowing me to read them easily even in bright sunlight. For those concerned about using a touchscreen while running, the mix of responsive buttons and the touchscreen provides a great solution. It's like having a personal coach on my wrist, helping me know when to exert myself and when to focus on recovery. The Forerunner 965 is very light and comfortable, with 23 days of battery life in smartwatch mode. Highly recommended.

This watch is great, it records distance, elevation, and HR very accurately. The OLED screen is very vibrant and easy to read. I have used this watch every day for the past year and a half and don't have any complaints. The battery life is long enough to last for multiple days recording with GPS all day without a charge. Great watch.

Love the functionality of it. User interface could use some tweaks, but that’s likely just my own preference.

Love this watch!
I had a Forerunner 45 but decided to upgrade to the 965 since I have a 50k coming up and I wanted the extended battery life and navigation features. The watch has definitely delivered on both fronts and I like how easy it is to get courses on to the watch for my runs. There are plenty of other features but those are the standouts for me relative to my needs.

Best Overall Fitness watch/tracker
It counts laps in the pool for me during training. In fact , it’s able to track multiple functions at one time. So, if you’re looking for a watch that can do pretty much everything. This is your last stop….

Switched from using an AppleWatch to the Garmin Forerunner 965. The difference is extraordinary, I wear every day only needs to charge very little time & last you 26 days. Shower with it, run with it, play sports with it, it’s the perfect watch. I would 100% recommend to anyone who’s wanting to level up their fitness.

Good not Great
My husband purchased this watch for me after I did Considerable research to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted and needed out of my watch. It worked more or less fine for about 10 months, then it started having syncing issues. At first I didn't think much of it, figuring the bluetooth or wifi connection wasn't great. Then exactly 1yr 1 month after purchase it just flat would not connect to my phone or computer. I did more research to try and get it synced and nothing worked. When I contacted Garmin support, they also tried everything, including fully resetting the phone to factory defaults and it still would not sync. Because the watch was out of warranty, the best they could do was get me a refurbished one (again, literally 1 month out of the window). I chose this cause I can't afford another expensive watch. The refurbished one is fine, but it made me mad that this thing that costs so much just breaks, perfectly out of the warranty. I have used Garmin products for decades, so this just bummed me out cause it probably means that they aren't making them to actually last anymore.
