Possibly overhyped
It’s a good watch but I’m feeling like it’s a little bit overhyped under delivered. It said that I could get my glucose monitor on the face but I’m having trouble with finding the correct app or widget

Amazing Running Watch. Great All Around Overall
Had since November 2024. Amazing. Hands down all I need. Music and Bluetooth connection is great. Ran 400+ miles with it and no problems. Battery life is great. Tracking for all stats is great. Very good music quality when running with downloaded music from Spotify (without phone).

Great watch, terrible Bluetooth connectivity
The watch itself is great but unfortunately the Bluetooth connectivity for music is below satisfactory. This is a common problem if you research the topic. Audio cuts in and out making it very frustrating while running or working out. Garmin needs to address this and fix the issue. Will likely be returning the watch.

Really solid GPS watch!
This is a great product. I like how customizable it is, and how easy it is to navigate on the interface, esp. with just a little practice. I wish syncing with Spotify was a little faster and more efficient, but overall this is a great way to track hey health metrics and leave the phone behind when going for a run.

Good choice
Great health insights. Tracks my hikes including elevation gain / loss. Good investment. I would be happy to pay extra for connect plus nutrition but it currently does not track vitamins and minerals so I'm stuck using my old app. Maybe in the future this will be an option.

Amazing Watch
Been about a month and this is an incredible watch. Battery lasts at least a week and charges super quickly. The Functionality and data is great and once you learn to navigate the watch its all very straightforward. Research the best headphones that connect directly to the watch. Apple Airpods connect well but JBLs do not.

Best investment of my life!
I am beginner and I didn't expect an entry level running watch to be this good. It has only 4GB of memory to store songs. Initially thought that would be a problem. But I have around 100-150 songs in my watch and it holds good. Fully happy with the product. Garmin any day from now on!!!

Not Satisfied
I’ve been using the Forerunner® 165 Music, and I’ve noticed a couple of frustrating issues. First, the sleep score doesn’t seem to calculate correctly. The data often feels inaccurate and doesn’t match how well I actually slept. Second, the swim tracking appears off compared to my previous watch. It consistently shows that I’m swimming much slower than I know I am, which makes me question the accuracy of the metrics. Overall, these issues make it harder to trust the data this watch provides.

Converted Apple user, Great Battery life
I bought the watch for running and a better battery than my apple watch and so glad I did. The metrics it gives are helpful to improve my running. I still can't believe my battery last this long. I also really like the body battery feature as I have a chronic condition this helps me track flares with. This was a great option for me and I will recommend Garmin to my friends.

Easy to Use
I have really enjoyed my Forerunner 165 Music. It has been very easy to use and is quite accurate. I have used it on bike rides and walks. The variety of faces is also a plus.

Love it
After 5ish years, my forerunner 245 music broke apart on me. Since I loved it so, decided to find the newer version of it. And after a couple months with it, I can say I love it. This one has a touch screen, a nap function (which is amazing since it silences the notifications that would come on the watch and wake me), sleep score on both the watch and the app and the cycle tracking. The convenience of having music on the watch allows me to carry less on my run which I truly love and what keeps me coming back.

Love it
I am an amateur runner and bought this watch for two things: security and advanced stats and measurements. This is a rave review. I like the watch's functions and 24/7 wear. It's fun and informative looking through the reports each day of how much sleep I'm getting, how effective my recovery is, and more. I've found myself progressing in my training since wearing it at a steady pace. It makes it easy to stay in a calorie deficit. My only complaint is that the design is a little plain, but that's purely aesthetics.
