Q: Does this watch have a small band as well as a large band?
A: Yes, however, Black is the only one that comes in large, the other colors are small/medium.

Q: Can you answer calls with it? Or text messages?
A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about Garmin vivosmart 5 This has limited functionality for answering calls and texts. There are some differences in functionality depending on if you are using an Android or an iPhone. Here is some information on functionality for you to review about the call features: Accept/Answer Call: No. You cannot talk through this, as it does not have a built-in speaker or microphone. If you select "Accept" on the device, it answers the call on your paired smartphone, and you must use your phone to talk. Decline Call: Yes. You can select the "Decline" option. Decline & Reply Yes (Android Only). When connected to an Android phone, you can decline an incoming call and immediately send a pre-written text message from a list. Here is some information on the texting side of things: Receive Notifications: Yes (Both Android & iPhone). The device will display incoming text messages, emails, and other app alerts. Quick Replies to Texts: Yes (Android Only). You can send a quick, pre-written text message (like "Yes," "No," "Call you later," etc.) directly from a list. These replies can be customized in the Garmin Connect app. Custom/Typed Replies No. There is no keyboard, voice-to-text, or the capability to compose a new message from the device itself. Quick Replies to Texts No (iPhone). Apple does not allow this quick reply feature on third-party devices such as this.
