Works great! However...
the app is easy to understand and the device works. The vivosmart 5 fits perfectly on my wrist. The only drawback is that I wish there were more material options for the band. I'd love to switch it out from time to time. The full charge lasts a long time, but I physically cannot wear it for that length of time cause my wrist will get itchy due to the material of the band. Since there are no other Garmin options and no viable off brand options yet, I have to take the vivosmart off to let my wrist breathe. I loose data and that kind of sucks.

Vivosmart 5
I ordered this watch a month ago, with the understanding that it had 7 Days of battery life and offered many features that I was interested in, since receiving this device and setting it up I have to charge it daily and I'm not getting the results that I expected from this watch. I would like to return it because it's not what I expected. Maybe it's something that I'm doing wrong but it shouldn't be that difficult to set up and manage.

Nice features
Really like all the features vivosmart 5 has. Even has a feature for sleep, stress, heart rate, etc. My only wish was the display was in color and a little bigger.

Not Happy
I bought this 2-weeks ago and have been very disappointed! The Bluetooth feature syncs but it says I have to wait for the data to be compiled. Bluetooth will not connect to my Dell Windows 11 PC. Only a USB connection will work. I gave been using Garmin Products for years, Backpacking , In-Reach (sons) along with his Solar Instinct. BIG MISTAKE!!!

Seamlessly integrates into my day
I have been wearing a vivosmart 5 for over two years and am fairly pleased with it. I like the fact that it keeps me updated about my health stats and steps with a glance as well as keeping me updated about messages without having to look at my phone. I recently had to replace the device because of some sort of failure, so I'm a little disappointed with its longevity, but it is a very useful device and is fairly easy to use and the app is similarly useful to give sleep information and other information. I will say I still have no idea what a body battery is or how to interpret the info, lol!

excellent resource
I have a Vivo active and Vivo smart, both are great devices. The only thing Vivo smart needs is more activities options

Pretty Happy
I owned a Fitbit for about 7 years and overall, I like the Garmin better. BUT, the step count and I assume the miles, track 25 to 50% lower than the Fitbit. I believe the Fitbit counts were accurate since I have had a lot of experience with it, so there is something wrong with the Garmin GPS or how it measures the Steps. For example yesterday Fitbit 12,556 steps and Garmin 9,268 steps. It seems like I can walk for awhile before the Garmin starts counting. I have to do much more activity with Garmin to get 10K steps and it is concerning to me. I have not had time to figure out why this happens and I don't know how to contact Garmin to see if there is a remedy but I wish the step count was more accurate!

Love this new watch
I finally upgraded from 4 to 5 and the upgrades are quite nice! My only gripe is that it doesn't detect stairs as well as the previous model, I live in a 2 floor house and constantly go up and down but it doesn't detect it. Outside of that it's super nice.

Pretty good
I bought this about a month ago. It does what it's supposed to except, it has to be recharged every couple days, not 10 days as advertised.

Very pleased
I received my watch about a month ago. The watch is very lightweight and comfortable. I look forward, every morning, to see how long I slept, how much was quality sleep, how many steps I took, and more.

Garmin Vivosmart 5
So far so good. Useful to keep health information in one place. Steps, heart rate etc. Not certain if the watch band will be durable with physical activity? The band is replaceable. An improvement from the Vivosmart 4. The design is very different from the Vivosmart 4 also. I don't find this watch comfortable to actually wear. Maybe I will get accustomed to it over time.

Great beginner fitness watch!
Pro: I’ve had Apple Watches in the past and I hated them! I wanted a smart watch that helped track fitness and do basic notifications. After a few years of not having a smart/tracking watch I did a lot of research. Garmin was a huge top favorite from all the reviews but there were mixed reviews on which one to get. I decided on this tracker one as a starting point because I wanted something simple and for only fitness. I didn’t want all the apps and extra stuff. This definitely gives me what I am wanting out of a fitness tracker. The con: I have an iPhone 15, I’ve downloaded the proper apps for the watch but when I go to add workouts or track things I’ve completed on my workout it tells my watch is not compatible and I will not be able to send workouts to it. so I have to manually add in what I’ve done and even then I can’t fully add what I’ve done. If I had known this I would have gotten the other watch I was debating on getting but didn’t want to spend the extra money on when I’ve never dealt with Garmin before. Overall: great beginner fitness watch. Wish I could add and send workouts to my watch from the app to track works but for now it will have to do.
