I upgraded from a Venu SQ to the Venu 3 and I have been wearing it daily for 1-1/2 months. I like the new features and more detailed information that the Venu 3 provides. However, the Sleep related features need to be revised IMHO. Some mornings the sleep start time will be incorrect, and it reports that I started sleeping after I went to the bathroom, say 2 or 3 AM, when in reality I may have gone to sleep at around 11 PM. I can edit the start time, but it will show the added period as light sleep only without indicating any awake, deep, or REM moments. Sometimes it will also indicate longer awake periods during the night than what I think they actually were. In the Sleep feature area, the older Venu SQ seem to perform much closer to reality than the Venu 3. I hope Garmin works on this and updates the software.

Loved my Venu 2, my Venu 2 Plus, and now my Venu 3. the 3 seems to do a better job with consistent sleep tracking, HRV, and other metrics, and I like the new watch display. Cool it has skin temp, although I have no idea whether that is valuable. I use the option to keep the display on all the time, and the dimmed view works well and I still get decent battery life.

This watch is great, easy to use, nice updates since my Venu2s. Comfortable. The bad- I had worn this watch for 9 days and I noticed there was a crack in my screen. I don't remember hitting it on anything. I have my other Garmin for years with absolutely no issues. So they quality has gone down for such and expensive item. And very unfortunate I had to pay to get a replacement for only a 9 day old watch.

This Garmin Venu 3 does more than I do. I've barely scratched the surface with it. Every day, I learn something new about it. One thing I especially like is the fact that it goes days and days without needing a charge. My previous watch had to be charged every day. I would like to see wireless charging available for it, though. I don't like having to plug in those four tiny pins to charge it.

I had my Apple Watch for 5 years and I thought I would never part with it, but I am so glad I did. The Garmin Venu 3 has far exceeded my expectations. Here are my reviews of various features: Battery Life The battery life on this watch is incredible. I can go a full week without charging, including multiple workouts per day, wearing it to sleep, etc. HUGE perk right there. Health Tracking There are so many health tracking features on this watch, including EKG, SpO2, HRV. If you are looking to have a better grasp on health features, this watch checks many boxes. Large Screen My eyes need all the help they can get, so this large screen is really helpful. Fitness Tracking As a very active person (4 strength training days per week, 3 runs per week, and pick-up pickleball 3-5 times per week), I love having a watch that will track my progress. This watch does a great job! It also provides personalized training features based on your fitness goals! Cannot say enough great things about this watch :)

Switched over from having an Apple Watch since Gen 1 was released. I’m heavily focused on my health and becoming more athletic for a career change requirement. I was super worried about the change in technology (I have the latest version of AW) and I don’t miss my AW at all. The body metrics and layout of Garmin products coupled with the Connect App leave a lot to be desired from Apple. I will say you cannot text or call from the Venu 3 if you have an iPhone but you can summon Siri with the “Voice Assistant” button/option on the watch and it works better than trying to summon Siri with “hey siri” on my iPhone. The Venu 3 display is bright and large and the watch itself is way more comfortable on my wrist than my AW is.
