I have been dying my hair black for years tried many brands and This color retouch from Garnier color sensation left my hair shiny and vibrant. Packaging is cute and simple easy to open. Application simple aswell get yourself a hairdye root bottle and easy to apply. Defenitely recommend to get this hairdye for your hair.

That's why I was excited to try the Garnier Color Sensation Color Retouch product. The packaging caught my eye right away. The rich red shade on the box matched the color I aim for. Plus, the promise of a "shampoo-like application" and "no ammonia" formula sounded perfect for a quick and gentle solution. My main concern with hair color products is the application process. I worry about making a mess and the strong chemical smell. I was pleasantly surprised by this product. The instructions were clear, making it easy to prepare and mix. The color had the right consistency thick enough to stay put without dripping, yet easy to spread evenly. The scent was nearly nonexistent. Gone are the days of overpowering fumes; this product had a mild, almost pleasant fragrance. The "shampoo-like application" truly lived up to its promise. Color is much darker than rich brown. Plus some got on my skin and I have tried so many products to get it off to no avail. Now my skin is red from all the rubbing. AND you have not answered my request to recommend a solution.

The product was easy to use but was so much darker than stated and did not blend at all with my existing color.

I was not put off by the smell as I’m normally gaging. My hair went from a very dull ashy black to more of a rich black and it made my heart appear healthy. I did not see any places where the color did not take, so it did what it was supposed too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to use, can get a little messy as it’s a dark shade so be sure to wear gloves, possibly do outside, old clothes, etc. but that is with all dark colors in my opinion. scent is fine not overly strong so that part was great! Shade was perfect & coverage was great especially when I was due for appointment but not able to fit in schedule!

Good overall coverage for when you’re just doing a touch up. Nice scent not too strong. And the color matches up really well.

Worked great at covering up my new growth! Will definitely use during times I don’t have time or resources to get to the salon for a touch up.

I have purchased this product 4 times in a row now. It has replaced box dye for me because the color lasts until it’s time for a root touch up again. I have greys and it covers 100%. It’s not a “natural red” so buy 2-3 to cover all of your hair. It’s worth it to me to avoid the harsh lines you get from over dying with permanent. I get tons of compliments and it’s the perfect color red that I’ve been searching for in a box but never found.

It covers grays well and blends naturally with my hair. Easy to apply. The packaging is compact, making it great to toss in a travel bag and for touch-ups.

It’s a great one when I have tried it in USA, why is not available in Canada though? I am canadian, we need this in Canada too, make it available on the shelf’s in Canada please.

The formula was just enough for my roots and the time to develop was not long. It's great for touching up roots or covering grays. The color is nice.
