Q: Are your colors true to description or do they tend to be a shade or more darker. Like if I get a light brown 6 range will it come out closer to a 5. I currently have med to light brown colored hair. Thank you!

Use the color cues on the side of the box to get an idea of what the color will look like on your natural hair color. Results will always vary depending on how much gray you do or don't have, the general condition of the hair what was used previously and how well you followed directions for applying your color. When undecided between 2 colors, always opt for the lighter one if possible. If it does turn out too light, it won't be a problem going darker next time.

    glowing roots on grays

    I have been using Garnier #600 for YEARS! It was foolproof and looked great. Whatever they have done to this product is horrible. My roots are glowing red and my hair now looks brassy. PLEASE change it back to the original formula. I can no longer use your product.

    Please change the color back!

    I've used #600 for years, I used to love this product!! The color looked so natural, people were surprised I colored my hair to cover greys. The new formula has a fake orange hue, my hair looks unnatural and cheap. Even the mirror is upset. Why o why did you change the color? I need to go find a new product....sigh.

    What happened

    I used this for the past few years and it was always perfect. However this last time I purchased 2 from the store and when I squeezed the creme out to mix with the developer, the creme at the end of the tube was grey and black, it looked moldy but I think it was just oxidized, never had this issue before. I’ll be looking for another brand to switch to.

    New Packaging + New Formulary = Green Roots

    I have used 200- Deep Soft Black for years. I always buy several boxes at one time. About eight or nine months ago, I noticed the packaging changed along with the formulary. After coloring my hair, my roots turned green. It was awful. Since I used this color for so long, I searched around to find the old packaging so I could buy the old formulation of the 200 - Deep Soft Black. Now, I'm stuck with boxes of the new formulary that I will never use because I turned my roots green.

    it’s a beautiful color; but gave me hot root. it’s not bad but you can tell in certain lighting and when my hair is wet. i just hope it doesn’t fade red. i noticed this brand of hair dye fades so quick compared to my other brand i normally use. my hair looked black when i was rinsing it and i got light brown. i may try again when i need to reapply.
