Directions were easy, comes with nice gloves and materials but the coverage was terrible. Made my hair super oily, which seems like it would be obvious but I couldn’t even get it rinsed out. Not worth it.

I love that there is no ammonia smell and that there was plenty of product for my long hair. I feel that because of my previous shade, there is somewhat of a reddish tone to it but unfortunately that’s been difficult to get rid of. The color is very nice and it completely covered my gray. I personally like something that has a bit more of a wow factor but this is still a great product! It left my hair feeling very soft and healthy!

The dye is a great value and easy to use. I had a pleasant application experience. The shade I used was soft black. The dye covered my grays really well and was long lasting.

I dont ever really do box dyes but I would recommend this product because it was gentle on my hair. The application process was easy.

Medium brown (5) turned my hair almost black and then it faded 2 weeks later to a very weird color. It looks like it bleached parts of my hair. Overall horrible. Left my hair dry and not shiny. Do not use this.

I love that these don’t smell too strongly of hair dye and has some natural ingredients. Left my hair a bit oily but that was due to it being such a good moisturizing product! Will use this brand in the future.

First off, there's no harsh smell—which is a huge relief if you’re used to that strong ammonia stink. It's oil-powered instead, and you can really tell it’s gentler on your hair. The color came out vibrant and even, and my hair actually felt softer and shinier after coloring, not fried or dry like with other box dyes. It covered my grays well and left a really natural-looking finish.

I have been using L’Oréal for 50 years…no kidding!…I have been searching for a product that was ammonia free & sulfate free & would cover my grey. (Excellence has always been the best for grey coverage) I have tryijng other products for the last 6 months. This is my first time with “Garnier”. I am so very much impressed & thankful that you have made such a fabulous product. The color is fantastic & my scalp thanks you & no harsh smell as well. I love the feel of my hair now & the shine. Never thanked a company before…but this is so huge for me to find this because of my autoimmune issues & needing to find a more natural product. i will for sure tell my friends about Garnier! I didn’t have a great experience with this color. First of all, I didn’t get gray coverage. It may have tinted some of the grays but despite a thorough application, it didn’t do a stellar job at all. I followed the directions, but I found it very hard rinse the color and had a lot of leftover product. My hair felt dirty afterwards, which prompted me to have to wash sooner than planned. The color that took to my hair is pretty, though, and I really appreciate that this was cruelty-free and smelled nice! I may give it one more try with a darker color and longer processing time!
