GM Original Cheerios not available in Europe
I have been eating Cheerios for 40+ years in the USA. As a retired person with lots of kids in my family overseas (Greece) I am so unhappy that the Original Cheerios is nit available anywhere in Europe. Why??? Would you please explain to us expats why nit making plain good old oats available in Cheerios for the population of Europe as you do in the U.S.? Why is Cheerios in the U.S. gluten free (plain oats) while Cheerios in Europe are nit gluten free? Are children in Europe not important enough when it comes to their health? Yes, we know it’s is actually CPW that makes them in Europe (50%GM and 50% Nestle). Ingredients not the same as in the USA yet you market the product with loads of honey and sugar as if it’s the same thing. Vitamin D3 in tbe US where in the EE it is made with vitamin D. We are angry at the fact that you feel as if kids and adults in Europe deserve lots of sugars (honey) in their cereal, it is a shame that you do not give us the option of a healthy Cheerios box made of plain good old oats in Europe as you go in the U.S.

Check the date!!!!
Please check the dates on the packages! I ordered this cereal with a drive up order and when I got home and checked the dates, it expired 8 months ago! Definitely returned it. Management was very apologetic and resolved the matter with satisfaction which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 1

Not Gluten-Free; Celiac Disease Inflammation
One of my favs comfort food next to ice cream when it’s a cherished need for me., but unfortunately, despite this being the only cereal I prefer over the years of switching from childhood favorites to adult sized comforts, and after being diagnosed with celiac disease, I hate to say it, but this isn’t gluten free. Far from it. It’s a shame because I really love their 2g of sugar taste, and I’ve been obsessed with that bland taste ever since I started eating it at 17, for someone who cuts off sugar (except fruits) a lot and don’t have an issue with it that much, even with treats. Please minimize the inflammation those who struggle with celiac disease go through, even fearing the bloating, the temporary weight gain, and the after affects when they do cut it off, craving more whole grain foods. Thanks!

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughtful and heartfelt feedback. It’s clear this cereal has been a meaningful part of your life, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us. We’re genuinely sorry for any confusion or frustration this may have caused, especially given your recent diagnosis and the importance of finding safe, comforting foods. General Mills products labeled as “gluten free” do not contain wheat, rye, barley or crossbred hybrid of these grains. They also do not contain ingredients that are derived from these grains. Gluten-free labeled products undergo extensive evaluation. Production locations also ensure that no cross-contact can occur during manufacturing and/or packaging. Finally, gluten-free products are routinely analyzed to ensure ongoing compliance with the FDA’s gluten free standard. All General Mills products labeled as “gluten free” meet this standard. For information on gluten free cheerios, check out our website: http://www.cheerios.com/ourgfprocess.aspx Thank you again for reaching out!

My Only Cereal
I have eaten only this cereal for over 7 years due to its relatively low level of sugar compared to most others. It is fortified with many necessary vitamins needed daily. Also, the price is reasonable at major supermarkets or discount stores.
