A: Hi Rania- Good question - we’re glad you asked. The gelatin in our marshmallow marbits pieces is made from pork collagen. Collagen as an additive is tasteless and clear, and is used in many types of food. Big G cereals that contain marbits include Lucky Charms, Chocolate Lucky Charms, Count Chocula, Boo Berry and Frankenberry.

I had really high hopes for this cereal but was completely let down. I don’t taste the birthday cake flavor. In fact, the cereal is quite flavorless without the marshmallows. In my bag, you can barely see the sprinkles. Also, the texture of the cereal is a bit airy. I’ll stick to the original Lucky Charms.

I’ll be honest, I couldn’t really tell a difference between this version and the regular, but. that doesn’t mean it wasn’t delicious! It’s such a sweet treat to get to have. I love the marshmallows so much. I’m one of those crazy people that would be very happy to just munch on a bowl of those marshmallows all day. The packaging was colorful and I’m sure kids will be drawn to it.

The flavor lessons the more it sits in the bowl with milk so would recommend eating it a little at a time to keep tasting the flavor the entire time. It doesn’t get soggy while sitting in the bowl though so that’s nice. Would definitely recommend for sweet cereal lovers.
In all honesty, I’m a bit disappointed.

Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like they taste nearly identical to the original Lucky Charms, and I was expecting something a little bit different. Don’t get me wrong, the original Lucky Charms taste good, but making a new spinoff product like this just feels like a waste when there’s virtually no difference. And the ingredients panel along the side of the box isn’t doing this cereal any favors… it’s loaded with junk and just about every artificial color you could think of.

The nutrition facts about 1cup (36g) provides a lot of vitamin likes vit D, A, C, B6, B12, iron, niacin… . It’s Gluten Free. I usually use plain/greek yogurt instead of fresh milk for breakfast, with chia seed on top. The best nutrition breakfast!

After trying the Lucky charms with rainbow sprinkles in the whole-grain pieces, I like them, but it’s just a tad too sweet for me. But of course, my daughter absolutely loved it. So if you like Lucky charms but crave a little bit more sweetness, this cereal is perfect for you!

Two thumbs up from both my 3 and 6 year olds, they especially love the birthday cake sprinkles and that it turns their milk blue. Not as high in sugar as you might expect for a marshmallow cereal.

We use cereal as a staple in a lot of snacks throughout the day. I was very excited to receive Rainbow Sprinkles Lucky Charms complimentary in exchange for my honest review. The first I noticed was how much cereal was in the box for such an incredible price. It certainly is a value. We had Rainbow Sprinkles Lucky Charms first for breakfast, and the birthday cake taste is flavorful and sweet, but not overly so. Literally, it is the perfect balance. The cereal stays firm in milk but isn’t too hard. But, I didn’t stop there. I made both no bake Lucky Charms marshmallow squares and a sweet and savory snack mix. Both recipes had my family asking if I could make more. This is a great cereal for snacking through the day as well as starting the day.

Not that even more sugar is needed for cereal… but if you’re looking for a sweet treat, this is a tasty choice. Probably won’t feed this stuff to my kids for breakfast due to sugar content and lack of nutritional value, but will enjoy when I have a sweet tooth.

It said sprinkles and I don't think I actually noticed anything different with the cereal besides the new box art/Lucky's design change and the cereal (not the marshmallows) tasted different but not great. It almost has a Cap`n Crunch feel to it. 5/10
