112oz Glass Square Food Storage Canister with Wood Lid - Threshold™: Glass Pantry Storage Jar, Dishwasher-Safe Parts

This system is the ideal storage system. I was seeking a set of canisters with the following, all of which this design meets: - made of glass to limit bulk food contact with plastic - despite being glass, not too heavy; these are just right in that they are lightweight but not so thin that they seem like they will break just by touching, moving or filling them - a top with a seal to keep the contents fresh - a top that despite the seal I can easily remove with one hand without needing to move the entire canister (for dried fruit snacks, etc.) - a shape that maximizes storage vs the shelf space it takes up, which this square design does nicely - a cannister that comes in different sizes so that I can have a somewhat coordinated/organized set

Item arrived shattered into tiny pieces. Literally a bag of glass shards. Not sure why they wouldnt bother to wrap it in protective paper like they usually do with glass items.

The sticker on the bottom was impossible to get off. I tried soaking it for days, goo gone, and Dawn powerwash. Nothing would remove it.

Works for it's purpose & price. Definitely not airtight, lid basically just sits on top. Glass is pretty thin so be careful. Oh and getting the gigantic sticker off the bottom, make sure you have Goo Gone.

VERY thin glass and if you get iylt shipped to you, there will be tape on it. When I tried removing the tape, the glass scratched

I guess they're ok. I saw the high reviews and just purchased like 20 of these to completely redo my pantry. I should've read the reviews. They look pretty but similar to other reviews, they are super thin and fragile and the lids are not airtight. And the stickers on the bottom are a nightmare to remove. A couple might be fine to have to get off but 20 of them? Absolutely not. Back they go

Lids aren’t secure

I got this to store egg noodles. But, be forewarned, that there is SOMETHING happening with how the volume in ounces for containers like this is calibrated!!! And that's one reason why I docked a star. I got the 71oz., and be forewarned, it's only about 7" tall ---when if you get a 32oz. container, it's ABOUT THE SAME SIZE --or smaller, which makes no sense!!! It appears that some manufactures STOP MEASURING IN LIQUID OUNCES and switch to the volume of air or who knows what, after 32oz. There is DEFINITELY inconsistency with WHAT is being measured for the sizes over 32oz. (and maybe even some of the smaller than 32oz. jars. The larger "canning" types of jars seem to be properly labeled, thank goodness, but if one of those jars was properly labeled at 71oz., it would be 12" tall, or so, not 7" tall!!!!!!! So, whoever came up with the official description and advertized it, is part of whatever game is being played with the labeling. I bought this 71oz. jar to fit 16oz. of egg noodles and the egg noodles only fit after shaking them down several times. I could have fit two 16oz. packs of egg noodles in a real 71oz. jar. I got this for it's external measurements, which are accurate. I have the 16" narrow wire bins (sold by Target, but I don't know if Target still carries them), which work nicely as toilet tank bins, but I use them to store items in my kitchen's lower cabinets. I'm using five of the 16" bins to store a variety of legumes and grains and inside the bins, I'm using glass milk jugs and narrow jars similar to this one from Target, and the system works really well, but I needed a wider jar for the egg noodles. This one from Target is of better quality than the others I have because this one has thicker glass. It's not heavy-duty glass, but it's of a decent thickness. I would rather that a stainless steel lid was offered, though, hence one more reason for docking a star. So, I would recommend this jar as okay dry goods storage. It's neither great, nor terrible, but be forewarned that it's not 71oz. as stated, as we are used to measuring with a liquid cup of water. They're measuring something different, but they don't state what they're measuring and why this same jar is about the same size as a 32oz. jar, while claiming that this is a 71oz. jar.

Love this canister! It’s sturdy, looks nice on my counter, and the wood lid seals really well. Perfect for pantry staples.

Trying to go to glass for food containers and this fits the bi!!

The bottom label adhesive may be complex to remove. Measurements may be inaccurate to mass, volume, or spatial differences. The item, to various volumes & appearances, might remain to many other values.

Extremely fragile - every single one was broken in the shipping. One of the shards I picked up said hand wash only so take that for what you will.

I redid my entire kitchen and wanted new glass containers for food storage. I wanted to like these so much. But. While they do look nice the lids do not stay on tight at all. And the stickers that come on the jar are near impossible to remove. I found similar looking ones with much better lids at a couple other stores for a better price.

These are great for things like dog treats, that we go through quickly. Not for items that need to be stored air tight. They look great on the counter top, in a cabinet or just in your pantry.

These storage containers look nice and are large to store a lot of contents. The sticker at the bottom of the containers are extremely excessive and very frustrating to remove!

These jars are fine. However, the listing clearly says they’re dishwasher safe. When I picked them up and went to wash them, I found that the label clearly says hand wash only. Be warned if you’re hoping for dishwasher safe jars.

The item itself is great. But the retail sticker is the size of the bottom surface and will only come off in tiny pieces. I then had de-goo the full area of left over paper and glue residue to get it completely removed. Its 2 days until 2025…at this point, I dont think an easily removeable sticker should be revolutionary.
