submitted byJaz - 3 months agoA: Absolutely get the 55-65 one. I have a 70” and first purchased the larger one thinking it would work. It doesn’t. The 55-65 fit perfectly and works amazing. (Side note for anyone else reading this, the 55-65 will NOT work with a 50in. )

A: Thank you for your question.This backlight is designed for regular TVs. It utilizes a camera to detect the colors displayed on the TV screen, and the backlight then reacts by emitting a corresponding color to enhance the viewing experience.

Quite easy to set up, and light looks great. It matches the tv colors well, but also has a lot of fun effects and themes. My tv is set up before some cream curtains, so it changes the color of the curtains to whatever I want which is also really cool. Watching tv/movies playing video games has never looked better.

syncing it with the tv colors is a mess. also the light is not super bright so this light alone doesn't offer much, and you need to turn off all the other lights or the camera will pick them up and not work properly.

The leds match the screen colors when it's only 1 color mostly, but if it's a blend of different colors it doesn't capture a 1:1 exactly.

Works great. Setup is and calibration is a little tricky but once it’s setup it looks pretty cool. The only draw back is you have to use them in complete darkness because it will pick up any glare from background lights.

I just installed this on my 85” and the lights came up a little short but all in all… great product remember Ty not throw away the orange squares they’re not packaging😂

We really enjoy it. Installation would have probably been easier if we took the TV down, but was still able to do it while mounted. Did have an issue keeping the camera positioned. I used one of the wire management clasps as a backing on the camera to keep it from sliding.
