A: I am not sure what the 2 year protection plan covers, but the manufacturer's warranty covers one year.

Q: Does it beep? I prefer kettles that don't beep.

A: There is no beep to let you know the water is ready. To heat the water you will need to press the power lever and the power light will turn on. When the water starts to boil the lever will pop up and the light will turn off. That is the only indication that the water is ready.

A: The handle is separated from the body of the kettle so it does not get heated. Also,it is a plastic handle not a metal handle.

Q: What are the instructions on cleaning? I would imagine that it would need to have a vinegar soak from time to time... any word about that?

A: The manual provides cleaning and care instructions. See text from manual below. CLEANING 1. Before cleaning, be sure the base is unplugged and the kettle has cooled completely. Empty any remaining water from the kettle. 2. Pull out the removable filter for cleaning. Wash the filter in hot, soapy water and rinse or place it in the utensil holder of the dishwasher. 3. Wash the inside of the kettle with hot, soapy water and rinse. Important: Never immerse the kettle in water or other liquids or place in a dishwasher. 4. Wipe exterior of the kettle and base with a damp cloth or sponge and dry. Note: The heating element at the bottom of the interior may discolor over time. This will not affect performance. Do not use abrasive soaps, cleansers, or scouring pads on the kettle. Note: Over time, the kettle may heat up but will not boil. When this happens, it is time for descaling. 08 www.hadenu sa.com TO DESCALE 1. Fill kettle with 4 cups cold tap water and bring to a boil. Add 2 cups white vinegar, let stand for at least 1 hour or overnight and discard. 2. Fill kettle to maximum fill line with cold water. Bring to boil, discard and repeat. Kettle is now ready for use.

A: The filter is removable. A spare filter is supplied for replacement. If you choose to not use the filter simply remove it.

Why do you need to put pieces of plastic inside the tea kettle ? Plastic and all chemicals on high temperature glitch to water making it absolutely poisonous, no matter if it is BPA free or not! Make it safe and healthy for people!

Terrible quality, leaks. Looks cute?
Owned for less than a year and water started leaking out of the temperature face. Slow enough to make me wonder where on earth all the water was coming from for weeks, but fast enough to ruin my wooden cutting boards and make a mess every morning! Sure looks pretty just sitting there through ;)

Cute kettle!
This kettle is cute and a great addition to my farmhouse vintage kitchen. My daughter really loves house easy it is to use and heat water in it for her tea in the morning. The structure of the kettle is easy to handle without burning yourself and is quick to heat. Great product!

Lid and top are corroded/rusted
I really love the look of this kettle, so when we had to replace our old electric kettle, I splurged and got this one. It works as expected and I like the thermometer on the side. However, today I pulled the lid off the kettle, and saw it is corroded! My husband is usually the one making coffee in the morning, so I never noticed, except for around the top of the kettle (which was starting to happen a while ago, just never thought it was super bad.) so much for stainless steel! And so much for the price we paid—the warranty is just past the year mark. Not happy at all about this!

Love This Kettle
I love this kettle. It is the perfect size and color for my kitchen. So stylish and looks so beautiful in my kitchen. So easy to use, This heats up quickly and quietly. The cord storage in the base is a nice touch. A high quality product. I plan on buying another for my Mom at Christmas. A wonderful kettle. I recommend.

Style and purpose!
This kettle has such a great look and is a nice addition to the kitchen counter! I’m excited that it has such a large capacity and will make it easy to have multiple cups of tea. One drawback it that it is corded, so can’t port it around too much.

We pulled this electric kettle out of box excited to try it out. I immediately fell in love with its classic look. My boys love its heating element and temperature guage. With my family preferring larger cups of hot chocolate, wr all love the capacity. I like that i can see just how hot the water is, tather than just looking for steam or listening for a whistle. My boys jumped right into making hit chocolate, even though its summer time. It came with a nice filter that easily slides into next to the spout, and its easy to wipe down. I
