[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this blender. Often times with blenders I find that the smoothies come out chunky and very hard to drink - not this one! The auto smoothie setting is awesome. I use greens, seeds, flax, chai etc and my smoothie is so smooth. Easy to drink with or without a straw! If you’re debating - just get it. It’s worth it.

I use it to make me protein smoothies. Blends protein powder up nicely. My kids love it. It is so easy for them to use. They dont have to chop the fruit up into tiny pieces and with the preset button it blends for the perfect amount of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blender is very attractive looking. It is simple to put together , with few pieces. It took me a few tries to get it blending correctly on the "auto smoothie option " , but I attribute it to user error. I had to had some more liquid and manually shift around the frozen fruit to the bottom of the blender , and then it started working well. Initially I followed the instructions which was to put liquid at the bottom and the frozen fruit at the top. The frozen fruit would just stay at the top and never move down to the bottom to be blended. But in my case I think I had too much frozen fruit to liquid ratio. Once I manually pushed some of the frozen fruit to the bottom and added a little more oat milk it worked perfectly. I do love the auto smoothie one button option and the ability to press ice pulse if needed. Overall it's a simple to use , well made blender. I like the fact that it's glass , and it's very easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Smoothie Smart 40oz blender does a great job crushing ice and blending frozen fruit smoothly. I have used this for morning protein smoothies. It blends well, with no protein powder left sticking to the pitcher. I have also used this to make frozen cocktail. The options for "icy drink" and "crushed ice", which are self explanatory, gave the option to customize each drink for each persons preference. The pour spout on the pitcher made refills easy and mess free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach blender is a very nice product. I was immediately impressed with the glass carafe. It is very heavy and sturdy! The features on the control panel are easy to use. Although I kept forgetting about the stop button and would just turn it off instead. I liked the automatic smoothie button and was impressed with it slowing down and speeding up on its own. The ice chipping feature did not work well for me. Most of the ice did not break up. I was disappointed with that. It did mush up all the frozen fruit though. One thing I did not like was there is no locking mechanism for the glass carafe. It could be knocked off and the blender would continue to run. This is why I gave it 4 stars. I have a Hamilton Beach food processor that will not run if the container is not locked on. I feel this would be a good idea as teenagers will be using this to make smoothies. Overall I would recommend this blender to other people!

It can do it automatically since it has a button so that it can make the perfect smoothie itself. Its design is very attractive, its buttons are digital for a perfect clean, you can wash your jar yourself. Its jar is made of very spacious glass with a lid that fits perfectly to it so that it does not come uncovered, it is very safe, its 850 watt force makes it grind perfectly and crush ice without problem, it is very versatile and practical.

I like that as a touch of a button I can do whatever I need to make my smoothie. The Pitcher of the blender is very sturdy. It’s nice thick glass. The buttons are clearly labeled in big enough to touch. It’s not really loud when you use the blender. The blender is also easy to store. I would definitely recommend this product.

The glass decanter makes it easy to store as much or little as required. (I made a chocolate, banana and peanut butter smoothie using almond milk.) It has no problem liquifying frozen fruits and ice and the glass decanter makes it easy to clean, especially when using the clean setting on the mixer and a little dishsoap in warm water.

Extremely happy with the glass and the lid pour spout. It’s very easy to clean and dishwasher friendly. And it has an “icy drink” and “ice crush” options that I can’t wait to use regularly since I live in the South. These hot summers are gonna be easier for me to have my frozen drinks made to order now.

The thing we like most about this item that it is very powerful and has buttons for Icy drink, smoothie, ice crushed, very convenient. The items that we don't like about it is that it has a very heavy glass top we would prefer plastic. The other thing is the lid, it could be designed much easier to put in and on the glass top. It is very difficult to snap the lid on. But other than that it's a good blender for the price and enjoying it

I bought this on Black Friday for less than $54.00. I was specifically looking for a smoothie blender and nothing else. So far it works great! If you use frozen fruit thaw it out first! It's easy to ise and clean. I have yet to try the ice crushing mode but I hope it delivers great results! I like the glass jar pouring spout and hideaway cord. Price was great!
