Q: Why does it say no to distilled water? That's not only cleaner but safer to breathe in. I can see no explaination in the instructions, only a few warnings. Thank you.

A: The wick needs the minerals in tap water to function properly, the minerals are not found in distilled water.

Love this thing
Love this thing. Yes, it only runs about 2 hours unplugged. But if full of water, and plugged in it runs for like 12+ hours. I take it to work, and plug the usb charger into my laptop on my desk. I get tons of comments on it also. Buy it!

First Impressions
This requires a wick to function. It comes with three but I’m not a fan of having to continuously buy wicks for this to work. Charging cable is also stored IN the reservoir.

Defective product
I got a defective product. Light works on the top but it doesn’t produce any mist. I thought it was just really light bc it’s a tiny product, but after seeing videos I realized mine was defective. Homemedics customer service is non-responsive.

Charger in humidifier/Battery life 2 hours
I don’t love it but I don’t hate it either. The cord is inside the humidifier if you think it doesn’t come with one. Like all the other reviews, battery life lasts about two hours only. If you want it to last longer, you would have to pull it in.

Cord is inside the humidifier when packaged
Haven’t gotten to use this yet, but the charging cord is inside the humidifier when I opened my box. One of the 3 wicks is also preloaded in the humidifier as written in included insert. so everything was there on mine, haven’t tested the humidifying yet, 🤞🏼appreciated the offer of a small nightstand option

Doesn't include everything listed on packaging
This packaging is incorrect/misleading. The box says it includes a charging cord and 3 aroma wicks. I bought two of these today and neither included a charging cord and each had only 2 wicks.

Convenient small humidifier
I really love the compact size and the fine evenness of the mist. The only drawback is that the battery life is not very long, and you would have to keep it plugged in continuously if you want more than two hours of mist. The cord is not very long and this is a bit inconvenient.

Worked great for first 2 weeks
I've had this for a couple weeks. It stopped producing the mist. Tried a different wick, no change. I ordered a replacement. Just got it today. Hopefully this one will continue to work.

Stop working after one use
I used the humidifier one time and it stopped working. Tried all the fixes recommended and it seems the charging port is defective.
