The Ultratherm insulation in body and lid keeps contents colder, longer. The snap-fit latch securely closes the lid and the reinforced swing-up handles have a tie-down feature. The threaded drain plug allows for optional hose hook up for easy draining. Capacity: 50 quarts / 47 liters / Fits 72 twelve oz. cans. Made in the USA. Care Instructions: Wipe interior and exterior surfaces clean before storing and between uses. To prevent stains and odors, empty cooler of contents after use. Light dirt or stains can be cleaned with water or mild detergent. Tougher stains may be cleaned with diluted solution of baking soda and water. Ensure all cleaning agents are thoroughly rinsed and the cooler is dry before storage.

Purchased two because I am replacing my old Ultra Cold 50 QT I use for camping. I can load each one with ice and food, but still can load them in the back of the truck by myself.

This cooler is great! Its built like a tank. I know it looks like its not that tough, but I could seriously use this thing as a work bench, it is solid. Just used it the first time. Didnt pre chill or anything. I put 1 bag of ice on a case of beer and 5 days later there was still a little ice left in the cooler. I also like the single latch lid. The double latches look cool, but when you have a beer in one hand, or anything else, two latches are a pain to deal with. So the single latch is perfect. The tie down points in the handles are nice as well. The only downfall I have seen so far is there is no slot inside where you can place a divider. All in all, great cooler! And best of all it was made in Texas.

I purchased this cooler as a high school graduation gift for a young man heading off to college where he will be close to the beach and intracoastal waterway. Thought he could use it for picnics and fishing when he has time off from studying. Added a couple cooler packs and a bow...ta-da! I chose Igloo brand because our Igloo coolers from almost 40 years ago are still going strong. AND it is made in the USA. Buying American is something I am trying very hard to do. Thanks, Igloo, great product!
