I’ve been using Irish since I was child and I’m in my 40s now and this new formula doesn’t cut it. I use to get such a clean feeling and I use to love the way I smelled after using this soap just a sweet freshness. But now it’s just oily feeling after using, like it not cleaning my skin as well and the smell is off. I don’t like it at all! Please start selling the old formula and give people the option if they want the flaxseed version.

Long time user of this product. The genius that decided to update the formula can not possibly use this as it smells like armpit and bug spray.It also leaves a greasy film on your skin. Now I am stuck with a load of soap that can't even be used as hand soap. Had to change to Lever 2000 as I can not afford designer soaps.

Just bought new box of original and its horrible! Its smell is to strong and leaves a sticky feeling. Why change it from the old formula which worked. This new stuff is horrible and now I'm out the cost because its in the garbage. You've lost another family of long time users.

After using this soap for a long time, this "New" formula is bad. No-one asked for "Flaxseed Oil" on top of whatever else you changed. Why would you sabotage your own brand like this? Instantly returned and got my money back. Also, I will not be trying your other soaps after this as they probably suffered a similar fate.

Terrible, TERRIBLE changes to the formula have made this soap unusable for me. I was a customer of the original scent and formula Irish Spring for many, many years. However, I will now be looking for a new bar soap. I am very disappointed that everything in our world seems to eventually get ruined by greed and cost-cutting. I guess simple bar soap is not immune either. What a shame. **Bring back the original formula!**

New scent is horrible, I've been using Irish Spring original for over 20 years..no more. I will have to find a new soap, if this is not changed back to the old formula. The smell has a heavy, oppressive smell ( strong perfume scent). I prefer not to smell as if I'm wearing cologne after I wash my hands or shower.

I have been using this bar soap for 30 years until now. The formula has changed and it feels and smells gross. Why would you change a great product? Based on the newest reviews of this produt 90% of your custumers agree the new change is terrible. Bring back the true original irish spring bar soap!

The new smell of the "original clean" is repulsive. Please start making the Original again. Otherwise I will find a new manufacturer. Why would you mess with your best selling product? The person making this decision should be fired. Flaxseed oil is not a pleasant smell. This is equivalent to Gillette discontinuing their Mach 3 blades. It would be financially dumb.

I used this soap for 15+ years, mainly because I love the original scent. The new scent is terrible. The soap is just soap and is nothing special without the scent, so I've moved on. Colgate-Palmolive has now done this to my favorite toothpaste (well taste, not smell) and hand soap too. I will no longer buy products made by them.
