So many hiccups/audio drop outs

Loving it so far! The custom image I requested looks great. Great sound for a little speaker, and it suits my musical taste from electronic music, some punk/indie and a little classic rock stuff. I would’ve liked the integrated battery life on the control screen of iOS and they gave an option for that more blue gray base color.

Amazing speaker however the clip in its name is honestly misleading as mine unclipped at some point throughout the day and is now lost. Beware always make sure it’s still hooked on as it’s easy to lose

I looooove jbl , well the clip 4 but this clip 5 has been terrible I thought it was just me but it wasn’t I have a keen ear for music and inconsistencies is sound and immediately I noticed that this speaker would cut out when I would play music there would also be weird like static / grainy sounds that just weren’t right but it always seemed like it was trying to disconnect and reconnect with my iPhone and I have the 17pro max . Never had this issue with my clip 4 and that’s obviously an older model. I exchanged it for a second clip 5 and had to return that one as well as it did the same thing even after connecting to the app and updating the firmware / software . I really wanted to like it but I draw the line at paying more than what a product is worth and having to follow troubleshooting shooting steps that would tell me to open up a product. No thanks. Please watch out for this product could be faulty. I went to two different stores to buy this item and both products were bad.

I ordered a custom design clip 5 and it is the most disappointing and worst quality item I have received in a long time. They fail to mention that the custom image is an overlay on the speaker that will peel and scratch immediately. The speaker itself is great quality and works like all other JBL products but they should not be offering a custom design option that is this low quality or and should definitely put a disclaimer that the image is not durable at all. I use my speaker in my car only and after it rolled onto the floor once, pieces of the image scraped off. Very disappointing.

I bought this for an extra speaker and have only used it a few times. I pretty much use exclusively JBL personal speakers and headphones, etc. I'm still using a Clip 3 after several years. This 4 seems to be a little louder and larger. Very tough, durable speaker and not affected by water.

Bought this a week or more before X mas and it arrived 23rd or 24th ,before x mas day though. It was for myself so I didn’t need it rushed but it was nice to open my package for x mas day. Love it, I got my personalized and my pic looks fire 🔥, everyone loves it. I ordered this to clip on myself when I go skiing. I gave out 5 to my kids and nephews for x-mas, for our upcoming ski trip but there’s is just black, not personalized. They love it, they use it already especially in the shower. As for the speaker is good quality great sound perfect for what we want it.

I bought this for backpacking but find myself using it more and more around the house. The sound for the size is really pleasantly surprising . Also the battery life is awesome. And with the app you can customize the sound. I highly recommend this speaker.

I love this little speaker! It's plenty loud for me. I bought the blue version and I've been very impressed with it's quality of build and clean sound. I own other JBL products and they do not disappoint. Got it on a great sale after Christmas.

Christmas present for my 16 year old. She loves it and has already used it loads.

I like it. Sounds clean and looks nice and simple. Easy to snap onto things. I’m going to experiment with it with biking to see if it’s good for biking.

Basically Died after 2 months. Turns off and disconnects frequently. Can’t use. It was nice for the month it worked.
