JBL Clip 5 Portable Bluetooth Waterproof Speaker

I bought this for my 8 year old son and let me tell you, now the whole family uses it! The sound quality is amazing. We have it connected via Bluetooth to a watch that my son has. It’s super simple to hook up, quick charge and all around a great tool for listening to your favorite songs! We use ours by the pool. We just clip it on a little hook we have and the sound is phenomenal!

Okay so I was already a JBL fan but I had to have it. It is the best addition to my little JBL family cuz it can play at the same time as my party box that's rocking the floor and I've got the highest clipped on to my belt. I love this little thing it rocks and Eclipse onto my UTV perfectly and stays waterproof.

I bought 2 clip 5s to replace the single clip 2 that I've had for years. My initial thought on this speaker while using a single one was to give it 3 stars for the following reasons.1. Even though this gets slightly louder than the 2nd gen, I thought the 2nd gen sounded better. 2. The speaker no longer has a built in mic like it's predecessor disabling access to your voice assistant like Siri and phone calls directly through your speaker. Which is surprising considering the next thing I'm going to mention. 3. This speaker is much larger and heavier than it's predecessor. Now the reason I gave this speaker a 4 star rating instead of 3 is because I updated all the firmware and was able to setup a stereo group in the app and gave the 2 speakers a listen with a true stereo sound. They did sound pretty good in stereo mode and they will work individually with your phone and will connect in stereo automatically simply by turning them on once a stereo group has been setup in the app. Also, for those V I folks using voiceover on your iPhones, it's been pretty accessible so far with the app and I hope that the people maintaining the app continue to keep this level of accessibility for the blind.

I thought it was smaller but the size is perfect to clip on my paddle board and backpack! Delivers awesome sound!

Use for ebike rides along the trails, so i purchased it for the clip feature to hang it off the handlebars. Definitely pleased with it all the way. Great sound in a small package.

I purchased this almost a month ago for my Yeti Camino, which is currently trending. I have only used it once while fishing poolside and at the dock. I will provide an update later after I use it more.

Awesome speaker, great for audio conference on teams and then when on a break music is loud and provides surprising bass for such a diminutive speaker.

Love it! Loud and easy to carry around. Like that I can hang it almost anywhere.

I bought this a few weeks ago, thinking I had lost my first one. To my delight I found the first one and kept this because you use both at the same time for TRUE stereo! Sounds good by itself, too, in shower and when I’m paddle boarding. And it’s so easy to adjust volume or stop music on the speaker in case phone is tucked away. The best find is the JBL app which contains a custom equalizer, allowing for nice bass, mids and treble. I also own the JBL 4, but I use the 5 a lot more due to its clip and louder volume! No regrets!

I purchased mine on 7/12 used it twice. Fully charged and only lasted 2 hrs before it kept dying on me. Not work it. Unfortunately I had to return it.

Great little speaker. Love the sound that comes out of this little thing, easy to use, can clip it anywhere. Charge lasts a long time.

How about this a month ago, I’m happy with the speaker itself, but the personalization wasn’t as nice. The picture came out way darker than it actually is.

This speaker has great sound quality, but so did the Clip 3. The Clip 3 had much more functionality with an aux jack input and speaker phone capability. The speaker phone capability was a very convenient feature to have while cycling.
