Q: Can you use a USB connected to a phone to play music through it? Thanks
A: False claims of battery life claims up to 12 hrs with additional 2 hours with the play time whatever I used it half volume from 100 percent charge it was dead in 1 hour 45 minutes

Unfortunately, the JBL Clip 5 Portable Bluetooth Waterproof Speaker does not have a USB port for audio input. This speaker is designed to primarily play music wirelessly through Bluetooth. You'll need to connect your phone or other device to the JBL Clip 5 via Bluetooth to play music. While it doesn't have a USB audio input, it does have a USB-C port for charging the speaker itself. If you're looking for a portable speaker with a USB input, you might need to consider other models or brands. However, if Bluetooth connectivity is sufficient for you, the JBL Clip 5 is a great option with its compact size, waterproof design, and impressive sound quality. Q: Can you adjust the sound via your phone or do u have to adjust on the speaker
A: Thanks for your question. Yes, you can adjust the volume of our JBL Clip 5 directly from your phone, as long as it’s connected via Bluetooth. You can also adjust the volume using the physical buttons on the speaker itself, whichever is more convenient for you.

Q: Can this speaker be used for phone calls?
A: Our JBL Clip 5 is designed mainly for music. It can't receive calls since it has no built-in mic and speakerphone function. However, you may check our JBL Flip 4 which has a built-in microphone that can be used as a speakerphone.
