The JBL Go 5 proves that great things really do come in small packages. For such a compact speaker, the sound quality and bass response are remarkably impressive, easily filling a room or an outdoor spot with rich audio. One of its standout features is how effortless it is to take anywhere. Combined with a solid battery life, it’s the ultimate grab-and-go companion for daily use. Customization is another strong point: when using a single speaker, the companion app offers a great range of settings to tune the audio to your liking. Pairing multiple speakers via Auracast is ridiculously easy and seamless. However, it's worth noting that when linked to a second speaker, the sound profile shifts slightly and can sound a bit treble-heavy or sharp compared to the warmer tone of a standalone unit. Visually, the default flickering light effects can be quite distracting. Fortunately, JBL made it simple to freeze the lights or turn them off completely, which is a welcome feature. Verdict: Despite a minor shift in audio balance when paired, the JBL Go 5 offers incredible portability, strong battery performance, and surprisingly punchy sound. It’s an easy recommendation for anyone needing high-quality audio on the move

GREAT speaker!
This is a great little speaker! I have a large Bluetooth speaker that's not always practical regarding portability in the space I'm in (e.g. paddling in my kayak, cutting my hair in the bathroom, listening to music in the shower, doing small jobs around the house etc). Was after something small but didn't want to compromise on sound quality & had to be waterproof. This little speaker produces quality sound & is now my go to device! Good battery life & looks like it will offer good durability.

We recommend resetting your Bluetooth connection by unpairing and re-pairing the device in your phone's settings, testing it with a different device, or performing a factory reset by pressing and holding the Volume (+) and Play/Pause buttons simultaneously for more than 2 seconds until the unit powers off. No Charging Cord/Arrived Late
My previous JBL speaker was aging a bit, and the charging cable wasn’t working, so I ordered a new one. My order was supposed to arrive before 5 pm the next day, I I needed because I was leaving on a cruise. It did not arrive until 4 days later. When it did arrive, there is NO CHARGING CORD included. Total failure.

I bought this to play my music. The sound of this small box is Unbelievable!! I absolutely Love It. It does not take up a lot of space and the sound is great! It only took minutes to set up, it’s very easy ti do.

Battery is WACK
Sound great but battery is wack. Advertised as lasting as least 10 hours and can’t even last 4. I would save my money and buy a different speaker. I am not using the light feature either, so I have no idea why it’s not lasting the time it should. Very disappointed.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on our JBL Go 5. The published up-to-playtime of our speaker is up to 10 hours which is the maximum battery time you will get when listening at background levels. As you turn up the volume, the playtime will be reduced, much like a phone battery when you brighten the screen. The same goes for source material. Music with more bass will also reduce playtime. It is possible that the battery is working correctly, but depletes more quickly when the volume is very loud and/or the bass has been boosted. Please try to charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to-playtime, the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. We invite you to contact our customer support for further assistance.
