Not for everyone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im not a fan of clips. I tried a couple, and I always feel like I'm missing something. I tried tge jbl soundgear clips for a while. They sound great but I don't like the feel. The look is great and the style is cool. If you enjoy ear clips over in ear buds then these are for you. The design is sleek and they are pocket size, making them very portable.

So comfortable I forget they are there.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Soundgear Clips are extremely comfortable and have great sound. There is more bass than I was expecting. These have become my go to headphones for hiking. They are so comfortable I forget I have them on sometimes. This style of headphone, to me, feels like it has minimal effect on the ambient environment. I would recommend these headphones to anyone and have recommended them to friends.

JBL Sound with Amazing Style
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Soundgear Clips are a unique type of headphone. Out of the box, they are ready to connect to your device through Bluetooth and the JBL app. The case is a transparent plastic that adds to the uniqueness with the clips matching the color. They are pocket, small bag, or purse friendly which makes them easy to take with you anywhere you go! They have that amazing JBL sound quality that you’ll love, volume doesn’t get drowned out with distortion, and have good high and low notes for whatever music you love! They are IP68 rated, so if you are getting in that intense workout or run, you don’t have to worry about water leakage into the headphones! Overall, the sound quality and unique case make the JBL Soundgear Clips stand out from other headphones out there!

Smooth feel and great sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I spend a lot of time listening to music, and various online books across all kinds of earbuds and headphones. I was really interested in these the moment I saw they were an open-ear earclip design. This style has some real advantages for everyday use. they enable you to keep your situational awareness, your ears stay cooler, and it is much easier to hold a quick conversation without fully stopping what you are listening to. For that kind of all-day casual use, open-ear designs can be really convenient. I sometimes forget that I have them on. First impressions were strong. The transparent housings on both sides of the clip looks different from the earbuds I have from JBL and Beats. Actually, the case is one of the nicest-looking earclip cases I have had. Setup on my Samsung phone and Samsung watch was excellent. Pairing was quick, battery information was easy to check, and I appreciated the deeper device integration features. The app is also very well done. It is clean, easy to navigate, and packed with useful settings instead of feeling like a bare-minimum companion app. My calls sounded clear and I was able to answer my phone without any problems. The mic worked very well. The headphones are nice to watch YouTube videos and on the phone and computer and chat with my family. These headphones are very comfortable to wear. The headphones sound great with music and calls. The mic works well and the controls are easy to get used to. I like that I can use the headphones and also hear my surroundings. The only issue I had was while I was working detailing cars. If they were not well seated on the ear they could easily be brushed off. Because they feel very natural on the ear, I did not always realize they fell off. The picture with 63% charge left is after working 4 hours. The picture showing 48% charge left is after a complete 10 hour day. The other pic is wearing the clip at work

Light, comfortable, and cool looking in-ear headph
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these open-ear headphones! Like all JBL products, they pair easily. They are really light and comfortable, while giving off really optimal sound. I particularly like the brown color, and both the headphones and case are sized just right, with a cool design. Priced in line with other similar products, and well worth it!

Super comfortable headphone clips for everyday use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time using “external” headphones that sit on the outside of your ear. At first I was hesitant, but after using it for a week I actually am digging them. They are extremely light weight headphones that just sit on the outer end of the ear and somehow you’re able to hear audio through your ear. They’re super comfortable and surprisingly have good audio. One of the things that I sometimes worry about is impact of headphones on my long term hearing but give that these headphones sit on the outside, I feel like I have less of a concern. Additionally, being able to hear both my audio and what’s happening in my surroundings is great for an outdoor activity like biking or walking in the city. The battery overall has been pretty good - used it for 7 hours at work and in my commute and had no problems. Would recommend if you’re in the market for an exoskeleton headphone!

JBL Soundgear Clips combine top notch sound qualit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m no stranger to open ear design and actually prefer the style for most of my daily activities. The JBL Soundgear Clips feature a lightweight yet snug wrap around design to keep your ears open to your surrounding environment while enjoying music or on a phone call. I listened to rap, house, jazz, rock as well as podcasts and once I got the EQ dialed in through the JBL app, the sound was phenomenal! There were multiple EQ settings as well as fully customizable. there were also several bass presets that really allowed the dynamic drivers to shine with gorgeous clean bass! The sound was lively and well-balanced with very minimal sound leakage. Calls were clear with no complaints both indoors and outdoors. If you take a lot of calls on the move, this is a no brainer! You can also customize the clips gesture controls, set a max volume limit, find my buds and it even has a relax mode which lets you play individual soothing sounds like a ocean or a fire crackling for up to one hour. If you want your environmental awareness, these are a must with a broad, dynamic sound and all day comfort.

Find the sweet spot!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Soundgear Clips have an innovative and comfortable design that worked really well for me. However, the fit varied from person to person, and even small adjustments changed the sound. The secret is finding the sweet pot on your ear. I noticed the closer the speaker is to your ear canal, the better and fuller the sound becomes. It held up well with ambient sound at an ice rink and the airport. Overall, I really like them!

Wonderful new design for earbuds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an ingenious new design for headphones. I love how they clip into your ears making a very solid fit that not only stays on your ear but is so comfortable I forget I even have them on. This has to be the new direction for fully wireless buds. Now since these buds don't actually seal to your ear I was expecting a lack luster sound quality with low quality bass. However I was blown away by how crisp they still were and how much they were able to reproduce. Also with this design you can hear your surroundings, so for jogging, biking, or even using it around your kids. You can hear everything around you. They are also no bigger than standard buds making portability a no problem. Lastly is the only spot we can see some improvement, I feel the touch pad needs to be a touch more sensitive and responsive. I find myself touching the pad multiple times to get it to do what I need. Other than this small concern I am blown away by these and would recommend them to anybody especially active people.

Quality JBL Headphones
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL produces another quality headphone product for a wide variety of uses throughout the day. Solid battery life and very good volume. Audio quality is good. Making phone calls on these headphones is okay. Sound quality could be better for phone calls. All in all a solid set of headphones that I highly recommend.

Good headphones for the average joe if you’re look
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones are very unique in there way, key features great battery and fast charging. It has a comfortable sit on the ear but won’t recommend for the runners or head bumping people. Treble and Mids are very well balanced but bass tries its best but definitely don’t trust on dropping the beat.

Best sound & good looking headphones!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Soundgear Clips are ready to go easily and sound amazing. I can't get over how chic these are. The color is so classy that people ask me what kind of headphones they are just by the sheer look of them. The sleek design allows for easy pick-up and placement. They clips right into place nicely. The sound is sharp and clear. I have used them for music listening, meeting participation and they are super efficient. The sound quality packs a punch for small headphones. I usually have issues keeping in ear headphones in place, but these are perfect as they didn't fall out once! I used them daily for a little over a week without requiring charging which was nice. The case protects the clips and keeps them snug. I have worn them while low impact exercise and they were great!

Classy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL “Sound Clips” are impressively strong and well balanced bud that comes wrapped in a sexy mocha package. The slim design of the bud doesn’t wrap around the top of your ear nor does it plug into your ear hole like the others. This bud uses your natural ear pocket. I say “pocket” because each ear is not created equally and doesn’t come in one size fits all. The JBL Clips is takes all of that mess out of the equation and found a way to make it work. All while keeping the features you’d expect from a bud from incoming calls, messaging, music, fast forward and playback. The battery life is strong with this one lol. I get about 10 hours of use with a single charge. The bud has very nice sound responsiveness to bass, voice, jazz, and other types of music. The features are all on JBL’s app. You can scan the QR code and it will pare within your app. From there you can play around with the EQ and even preset your own style. If you want something that stands out amongst the rest, these are your Buds!

The first ever headphones that actually stay in my
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are hands down, my favorite headphones I’ve ever worn. My ears are small and in-ear headphones just never fit for long, they always fall out. But not theses! The way they sit in your ear is actually genius. And I love that they don’t completely block out all other sound. I can hear my music and phone calls great, but I can also be aware of my surroundings. Thank you JBL for finally making headphones I can wear for hours!

Great open-ear style headphones
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first pair of open ear style headphones. I'm very happy with them. They are great for wearing whenever I'm around people and need to hear them or anything else in my surroundings. The sound quality is great, although if you're in a loud environment you'll have to turn the volume up a lot to hear it well. Everywhere else, they're a big win. Comfort is top notch too, and they stay in place well. I'll be using these a lot.

Worth the wait
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s get right into it. Good things: they don’t feel like they will fall out. They allow you to hear ambient noise without sacrificing sound quality. Amazing battery life. An app that works! The bad: I couldn’t answer a phone call with a voice command. The case, while attractive is a bit large, I found it cumbersome if I needed to carry it in my pocket. Gestures take some practice to hit right in one shot without fumbling around a bit. Bottom line: I love em. Go get you some.

Love and Hate Relationship
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of these ear clips. They are cute and comfortable. The sound is amazing and clear. The battery is really good each clip individually will last about 8 hours without charging. My issues with the device is that they shut off after an hour of use. You have to place them on the base and then you can place them back on your ear. They also will not connect to the JBL app even after following the steps to do a reset. They do not come with a charger.

We're glad that you're loving the fit and look of our JBL Soundgear Clips. We appreciate your feedback, and thank you for bringing this to our attention. To reduce electronic waste, our JBL Soundgear Clips and other newer JBL products don't include a charging cable. Feel free to use any USB-C cable and power adapter with a power rating of at least 5 volts and 3 amps that you have at home. The unit shutting off after an hour of use is not normal. Please try to fully charge the earbuds for 2 hours and see if this behavior still happens. For the issues connecting with the JBL Headphones App, try to clear cache, uninstall the app, reboot your source device, reinstall the app, make sure to allow permissions, reset your Soundgear Clips by tapping twice, then hold for five seconds, and try pairing them again, and check if this fixes the issue. Please contact us directly if the issue persists or if you need further assistance here: https://support.jbl.com/us/en/#contact
