Like I said abojt the shampoo, it doesn't make anything blonder, just shinier I guess, so it appears lighter. The smell is totally different from the shampoo, which was wierd, usually the matching shampoo and conditioners will smell at least similar. this definitely doesn't condition my hair, it has dried it out tremendously. Probabky won't buy this again.

I have curls again!!! I bought this for the blonde highlights on my top layers to revamp them, not expecting at all for it to revive my hair and bring my curls back partially. I’ve always been skeptical about “name brand” products but I gave this a try. I will be purchasing from this brand from now on. My hair feels incredible

I have been using this shampoo since it first came out sometime in the 90's . Some twenty odd years ago. I love, love, love it !!! It is THE only shampoo that brings out the natural babylights in my hair. it leaves it shiny, managable and soft.

I love this shampoo. cleans without drying out my hair, leaves it manageable and does bring out the blonde highlights, you don't need to use a lot so goes a long way

Had some gray tint to my new highlights. This turned everything a perfect blonde after 2 uses. (Used the matching shampoo too) And it continues to lighten me up. I figure if it gets too light, I'll take a few days off and use different products.

I bought John Frieda's highlight activating shampoo and conditioner "for lighter blondes" for over ten years with fantastic results. My hair was super light, shimmery, toned, not bronzy or orange, etc., but I had to keep it healthy for the right effect. John Frieda changed the formula over and over and over, likely to suit people with fried hair, and now they don't even have a conditioner for lighter blondes. The latest products simply make my hair dull, yellow, and dijon mustard colored. It ages my hair by 20 years. It looks terrible. By the way- preserving hair color with wax is not the same as enhancing it by cleaning and adding shine. Now I just use clarifying shampoos and conditioners like Neutrogena

This might be expensive but after a week your roots are back to blonde.adds shine to your hair too.

I absolutely love this product. It really brings out my highlights. It keeps my hair from being brassy. I can tell a difference after one wash. You get a lot of product for a great price.

Overall I'm not too impressed. I did buy a bottle of this particular shampoo and conditioner and noticed no visible differences to my hair color.

Once again on the hunt for an ever elusive blonde shampoo I fell sucker to buying this shampoo! Don't feel for the hype. You have to buy the entire line for it to work. And low and behold, once again, just like the Go Blonder line you can only buy the spray online.

I use this during fall and winter when I want subtle highlights. It isn't brassy and it leaves my hair soft and smelling great. I haven't tried a product of his yet that I have not liked.

I needed to whiten the yellow tones in my hair and this really helped

Ok...So I really hate going to the salon, dropping a ton of cash, then having my bright blonde (NOT yellow!) highlights fade away and become dingy. I have tried all the expensive and purple shampoos, but nothing comes close to the awesomeness of John Freida Highlight Activating Brightening Conditioner- Darker Blondes! The bottle is easy to hold and squeeze in the shower. This shampoo has a great, thick lather that cleans great, doesn't strip hair, and also doesn't leave residue or buildup. The smell is wonderfully fresh and leaves your hair smelling fantastic until next wash! I love how bright my blonde highlights are! They stay looking amazing and bright for weeks! I really can't stress enough how much I love the great cleansing, and how well this extends the freshness of my highlights!

I first bought this product two months ago and immediately started noticing a difference. It took a few washes to really get it to where i liked it but when it got there it looked just like it used to after I left the salon. This product is absolutely amazing and I still use it when my highlights start to get darker.
