Raisin Bran Breakfast Cereal

First pour at the top was a humourous flake then kept eating and came across a black flake and a brown one!!

It's been a while since I've had Raisin Bran but I think they changed the flakes. they're awful and they chew like wet cardboard. What is this? So sad, I wish companies wouldn't change age old tried and true formulas. What could be the reason for this? Money???

I have been eating Raisin Bran daily for decades. Your change in recipe has been tolerated but is now too poor to ignore. You will lose this faithful customer.

The flavor of the bran flakes in Kellogg s Raisin Bran taste different bathe flavor is flat. I just bought a box of the Mega Size box today. They seem drier and lack the flavor I’m used to. This will be my last box. I think I’ll try the other major brand next time.

I have eaten and enjoyed Kellogg's Raisin Bran for as long as I can remember. However, recently, the raisins have changed. I can't decide what has happened, but it's very unpleasant. They almost taste as if the manufacturer started with rotten grapes. I will not buy any more Kellogg's Raisin Bran.

Im in my 20s, and we don’t complain much about stuff. Just move on if we didnt like it, but this was expensive for it to be this bad and it pmo😭😭. It was literally all bran flakes. I am not exaggerating. There were three “clusters” in my whole bag, and I bought the family size because I expected it to be regular raisin brand crunch with blue berries instead of raisins. Like what is this! The clusters also were smaller that half a bran flake and weren’t even crunchy. They disappeared into nothing. It was so bad, and it makes me super unlikely to try the original Raisin Bran and Raisin Branch Crunch. I was getting back into cereal since being a child, and now I’m like nah. LOL

I buy this cereal once a month and the last two times that I purchased this cereal there were no raisins in the box.

This is really good! Love the blueberry flavor. Dairy free and tastes great with almond milk!

So there were barely any raisins or crunchy bits in my cereal. It was basically a box of bran flakes.

Kellogg’s Blueberry Branch Crunch cereal boasts dried blueberries in its ingredient list and prominently features them in its packaging. However, the only dried blueberries in the cereal are in the few blueberry-flavored crunchy oat clusters. Despite the packaging’s claims, there are no whole dried blueberries elsewhere in the cereal. This clearly violates the federal Fair Packaging and Labeling Act of 1967, which prohibits “consumer deception … with respect to descriptions of ingredients.” Kellogg’s Special K with Red Berries clearly states that it contains real strawberries, while this product only claims to contain blueberry-flavored crunchy oat clusters. Kellogg’s seems to rely on consumers not reading the fine print. Consumers should unite and file complaints against Kellogg’s, or even consider a class-action lawsuit. I am deeply disappointed and feel deceived and lied to. I would not have purchased this product if I had known it didn’t actually contain the whole dried blueberries depicted on the box. I am puzzled as to why Target would sell a product that is deceptively marketed to consumers.

I bought this a week ago July 2025 and something has changed in the quality of bran and raisins. This use to be my favourite cereal and it’s just tastes bland and of cardboard now. So disappointed in the lack of quality.

I have eaten raisin bran for years due to the low iron content. I have a medical condition that requires me to limit my iron intake. I recently purchased the 20.9 oz. box and after getting it home I discovered that the Nutrition Facts on the side of the box now states that the iron content has jump from 10% to 90%. If I hadn't checked the label, I could have had an issue. No where on the box does it say that the cereal has been "fortified" or now contains additional iron except for the Nutrition Facts. My question: Is Kellogg's going to continue to make the original raisin bran with only 10% iron, or is this new 90% iron content now the norm?

Very deceiving marketing. The picture on the box shows blueberries in the cereal. There are no actual blueberries in the cereal. It’s simply bran flakes that are blueberry flavored. Won’t buy again.

I bought a box today in July 2025 and immediately noticed the box was thinner than what I used to buy. Then I started checking the internet about shrinkflation and discovered that Kellogg's is a primary culprit. This just really seems sleazy and deceptive. Such practices "leave a bad taste in your mouth". After a lifetime of 55+ years enjoying your cereal, I've decided it's time to try something new.

Not a fan of regular Raisin Bran but absolutely love the Blueberry Bran Crunch. Smells awesome out of the box and tastes great!

The last box I got was stale and box had been tossed so no return this time. But normally love it and it's normally fresh.

Smashed, squished, pounded to crumbs. The cereal was placed flat in the bottom of the box with all the heavy items on top. The shipping box was a bit crushed also, so it was handled roughly. But inside the box the poor cereal was pounded to death.
