  • A: Just to see if it would work, I just now used my reusable iCoffee iCup (the sole survivor of my iCoffee one cup machine, may it R.I.P.), and it worked perfectly fine in the Keurig K-Mini. Just had to be sure it was flush before closing, but it did the job and didn't kill my K-mini (whew!)

  • A: You have to remove the brewing unit that is already in the machine by pushing it up from underneath. We tried to get it out from the top and it didn't work. We were about to give up when my husband watched a video online about this machine and the reusable coffee filter. I was about ready to take both the coffee maker and reusable cup back to Target. Keurig just keeps telling people it is compatible but doesn't tell them what they have to do . When you look at the machine from the top it appears that the installed k-cup filter is one piece unable to be removed and it would not lift out from above. I hope this helps anyone else who has an issue with the reusable cup.

  • A: Not that I've found. Unless I'm doing something wrong, the Keurig Universal My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter, as suggested by Keurig Care, does not fit my brewer. It is too tall with or without the adapter.

Q: We have had a single-serve Keurig for about a year. All of a sudden when you put the pod in, push down on it and push the center button in the coffee maker turns off. We have to play with it several times before it works. Any suggestions?

  • A: Keurig offers another model of this coffeemaker which includes a removable water reservoir, as well as the option of a stronger brew. It is far better, in my opinion. I purchased the lesser model sold here by Target and within a year I upgraded to the slightly more expensive version. They are both fine coffeemakers but if you're like me and want the best version, this one isn't it.

They have this model (though Plus - w/removable water reservoir and K cup storage bin accessory) and in it's detailed description is indicates it's My K Cup compatible. This is the 2nd Keurig mini that I have owned. The first burnt out after about 8 months with daily use. I purchased a second unit, hoping that it would last longer. Sadly, it was defective from the first use. Instead of holding the water and heating it, as soon as the brew button was hit, the water immediately came through and obviously wasn't warm. I love the idea of the keurig, but sadly, I havent been impressed with the quality.

This Keurig literally stopped working a week after the return period expired. It just stopped brewing kcups one day. I ran keurig cleaner through it 3 times, and it worked great, but when the kcups went back in there, a little bit trickled out but that was it every time I tried it. Aside from that, when it WAS working, coffee and water splattered everywhere every time. I’ve had multiple keurigs over the years and never had problems until this. Absolute junk and out a bunch of money.

We got this coffee mug about a month ago and it just started spitting coffee grounds into the coffee and now it won’t even brew. I want my money back! Super upset and a waste of money, don’t buy it. Also we added the water to make a cup this morning and it wouldn’t brew a cup but the water is empty so it’s just sitting inside the coffee maker somehow. Ugh!

After having a K-Duo with Stainless steel coffee pot that could make both single cup or a pot I decided to downsize to a smaller single cup maker instead that would take up less space and I no longer had use for a full coffee pot maker. I'm happy with the size and the single cup use and not having to fill up a reservoir with water that was not needed. However, I miss the "strong" button and when filling up the water to be able to choose the ounces of coffee you want it to make. Coffee is also not quite as hot as my old coffee maker.

I really love the convenience of this Keurig. It’s perfect to keep in my office where it’s easy to grab water so no large reservoir needed. The color and size are perfect for a high traffic area like a personal office. While this version of a Keurig doesn’t have the strong brew mode, I don’t really notice a huge difference between the strong brew mode and the regular brew. It’s quick to brew and get me on my way. Overall this is a great buy for the money.
