Fantastic Kettle

Filled with plastics.
Thanks for all the black plastic inside. Just kidding. I was looking for an all metal electric kettle but assumed incorrectly that this would fit the bill. It has an unremovable plastic filter mount, secured by plastic fittings, and plastic pieces in the lid. It'll be returned promptly, still wet from the cleaning. Thanks for nothing, KitchenAid.

Great with minor flaws
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super cute and boils water quickly; however, the light on the switch broke after the first use (wouldn’t turn on the second time I tried to use it), and the lid gets too hot to touch when water boils so you can’t remove it with a bare hand to add more water for another round of boiling. Still keeping it though, and overall glad with the purchase.

Best kettle ever

ABSOLUTELY GREAT PRODUCT
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this kitchenAid electric tea kettle which I bought over 5 yrs ago. I love it so much it heats up water instantly. A blue light indicator comes on when the water is boiling and the switch will turn off automatically when the water is ready to pour. You will also hear the click and it looks so elegant on my counter so I decide to purchase one for my daughter in law. I will definitely purchase more kitchenAid products in the coming months. Love Love The Product........
