Fantastic Kettle

Filled with plastics.
Thanks for all the black plastic inside. Just kidding. I was looking for an all metal electric kettle but assumed incorrectly that this would fit the bill. It has an unremovable plastic filter mount, secured by plastic fittings, and plastic pieces in the lid. It'll be returned promptly, still wet from the cleaning. Thanks for nothing, KitchenAid.

Stopped shutting off
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kettle stopped shutting off after 2 weeks. Got a replacement kettle from Kitchenaid and the new one atopped shutting off after 1 week. Will be replacing with the other more expensive model now

I like it a lot, The only thing I think would make it better was if there was a window in the side room be able to see the water level as it is hard to know when it’s getting low.

It holds enough water to do a teapot and a double sized filter coffee. And it looks really nice on the kitchen counter.
