[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of power on this mixer. Kept 'upping' the speed and it only went 'so so' at highest speed. I has an old Betty Crocker that had twice as much speed at low level. I just can't imagine this whipping up a batch of potatoes. Will probably donate it.

The thinner style beaters also make for easier clean up and less wasted dough (mix). Mixer seams well made and controls are easy to use.

The old mixer was still working quite well but it did not have a whisk attachment. I love the new unit and I am sure it will last as long as all my other Kitchenaid products have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer is much quieter than the one I previously held. I am actually able to carry on a conversation while using it. The operating switch does take some getting use to. There is the switch to turn it on and off and then y ou have to adjust the speed with a different set of buttons. They aren’t as responsive as I am used to with a simple slide switch. It does get the job done and the swivel cord attachment makes it stand up a lot easier.

This is a great mixer and probably because I have loved my Kitchenaid stand mixer, I looked to my go to. Kitchenaid. It looks similar to the one I saw in ‘My Man Godfrey’ 1957 movie. Haha. The power in it is wonderful and it did a good job of mixing the heavy cookie dough. The one disadvantage for me, because of my height, was holding it in the bowl at the proper angle. I could not find a good balance point.
