Very quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this mixer a couple months ago. It works good. It just don't seem as powerful as ones I have had in the past. Meaning it just isn't very fast, but it does the job without bogging down. It's so quiet also. Very nice

Not that powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of power on this mixer. Kept 'upping' the speed and it only went 'so so' at highest speed. I has an old Betty Crocker that had twice as much speed at low level. I just can't imagine this whipping up a batch of potatoes. Will probably donate it.

Great Upgrade from old mixer (not a Kitchenaid).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife has used several times and commented on how she likes the slow start up speed which results in no spattering. The thinner style beaters also make for easier clean up and less wasted dough (mix). Mixer seams well made and controls are easy to use.

Great to use, but sticky inside
Perfectly good hand mixer, not too heavy and easy to use! I'm just wondering if anyone else had found residue inside the beater shafts? As in: I will take out the beaters and the ends will have a clear, glue-like residue on them. This has happened every time I've used it, even straight out of the box. I haven't been able to find anything online about it, but would love to know the cause.

The old mixer was still working quite well but it did not have a whisk attachment. I love the new unit and I am sure it will last as long as all my other Kitchenaid products have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer is much quieter than the one I previously held. I am actually able to carry on a conversation while using it. The operating switch does take some getting use to. There is the switch to turn it on and off and then y ou have to adjust the speed with a different set of buttons. They aren’t as responsive as I am used to with a simple slide switch. It does get the job done and the swivel cord attachment makes it stand up a lot easier.
