[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in May and I was disappointed to see that it has a chip in the paint, the bowl didn’t say its size on the side nor did it say kitchen aid on the bottom like kitchen aids other bowls do, the side metal thing was loose like not set properly, and even one of the attachments had a chip in the paint as well. I bought this thinking it’d be up to the standard of kitchenaid, but I guess because it’s refurbished they don’t put much attention to it. Overall I like it and it still does the job

I bought 5.5 qt Stand Mixer that was refurbished 30 years ago. It's still going strong and I run her hard kneading bread and mixing cookie dough. I have had to replace the gear twice, but it's a DIY task with some instructions!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as refurbished which is great since you can get it at a lower price and even though the warranty isn't as good, I feel comfortable that it has been gone through and will last and it looks brand new. I have used this a few times for making bread dough and I love it. I love the color and the texture is nice. I had ordered one in the Ice color and it was shiny and slick, but then I got this one in the Mineral Blue and even though it's not shiny it's got a texture to it that I like. The only thing is that it's hard to find accessories for the 5.5 quart. Lots for the 4.5 to 5 qt but not so much for this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really glad that I purchased one of these. I've wanted a good stand mixer for about 10 years now. The product is good but for some reason while using the dough hook at about 2 speed, on doughs that are 65% hydration or less the motor definitely seems to be struggling a bit. Mind you I am not making massive batches. I started with a Poolish and slowly Incorporated the water to build more gluten, but it seemed very sluggish when kneading the dough. I have yet to try the other attachments or other speeds but this is the experience of had so far. It's a good product and makes things a lot easier considering it is refurbished. It's doing the job. I'm just worried about the motor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a huge fan of this mixer. I like that it has so many different attachments that I can get for it. I think its all extremely over priced but it is what it is. I only gave it 4 stars due to the high price of everything kitchenaid. Also I'm not super impressed the the provided dough hook, it doesn't quite knead like I would like it to

Unfortunately Not as Good as the Old Model!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to purchase the Lift Stand Mixer model after having an old Kitchen Aid for many years. However, the bowl is a little tricky to get off of the stand and the mixer attachments can be difficult to put on as well. My old model was much more user friendly but unfortunately it has a broken lock mechanism so we got this new model instead.

Depends On Your Baking Needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a reasonably functional mixer intended for occasional dough making. If you make mostly cookies, whip cream, or do not otherwise need to use the dough hook, this will be a fine mixer. Same if you do not make bread or pizza dough more than a couple of times per month. This handles dough passably well, but nothing like machines that are designed more for dough than cookies or pastries. We make bread almost daily and though the dough is okay, it is not as good as a dedicated or purpose built mixer that is designed for dough. I bought this refurbished at less than half the full retail price, and at that price point I think it is a bargain. If I had to pay full price I would save up to get a professional mixer.
