I use a mixing bowl, put half bottle of the gloss and half of the ‘developer’, then apply on wet hair with a coloring brush. Just like you would with any box dye. A: It’s definitely more violet than blue. Purple toned. I have both.. orange, and yellow from trying to color my light brown roots( I have blonde highlights). It took down the yellow more than the orange, but definitely helped to mute both. I’d recommend it. It didn’t cause any damage, and helped a bit.
