L’Oreal Paris presents Pencil Perfect Self-Advancing Eyeliner. The no smudge eyeliner glides on softly and smoothly for the perfect line. Ophthalmologist-tested. Apply along lash line starting from inner corner of eye working outwards. To advance tip, gently twist bottom of pencil to the right until pencil point is sharpened to desired point for use.
Eye cosmetics in a scratched, infected or irritated eye and scratches from cosmetic eye applicators can lead to eye damage, and in extreme cases, even blindness. If your eye is scratched, stop using all eye cosmetics and go to an ophthalmologist immediately. Never apply this product in a moving vehicle.

This used to be my go to liner, but I will no longer purchase. They must have changed the ingredients and it does not apply well. Don’t waste your money.

Smudgy!
Yes, the eyeliner glides on great at first but within an hour of wear it smudges over and below my eyes. Doesn't matter if you set it with foundation powder or liquid first, it smears regardless. Not a flattering look! So disappointing. C'mon L'oreal you can do better!

Check your returns and find the problem.
I can't get the pencil to advance. How does it sharpen the tip, Where is the sharpener. I can't get it to work. A video would help. After seeing the other reviews it appears, I'm not the only one having a problem with the pencil.

Won't advance
I bought this eyeliner because I liked the grey color. It is easy to apply and I was very happy with it until I found out it won't advance at all - it only turns and turns. Very disappointing and certainly not worth buying if all you get to use is the original tip it comes with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So aggravated with this eyeliner. It doesn't matter how much you turn it, it will not advance. Just a big waste of money.

Hi there- Thanks for reaching out about our Self Advancing Eyeliner. Despite the plastic-coated appearance of the eyeliner, it can be sharpened with a cosmetic sharpener. For best results, turn the pencil gently in the sharpener 3 or 4 times, being careful not to apply excess pressure. After sharpening, remove all shavings from the blade edge. Your sharpener should be replaced whenever the blade has dulled and is no longer giving the expected results. We hope this information helps!
