L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Superstar Waterproof Mascara is a two-step primer and lengthening mascara for a show-stopping lash effect. Super-volumizing primer builds dramatic volume on every lash and creates an ultra smooth base to maximize mascara performance. Super-extending mascara with a fiber-rich black formula.
Start by applying the Super-Volumizing primer making sure to coat every lash. Then, before the primer dries apply the fiber-rich mascara on top of the primed lashes to create a show-stopping lash look. Repeat on other eye.
Flammable until dry. Do not use near fire, flame or heat. To safeguard L’Oral purity, reserve this product for your personal use. Treat the applicator with the hygienic care you give your eyes. Never apply this product in a moving vehicle. Do not dilute mascara with water, saliva, or any other substance. Cap tightly after use. If change in odor or appearance occurs, discontinue use. I have been using the waterproof purple tube voluminous mascara for years. Loved it! Why was it changed to a white primer?! Awful. It takes so many coats of tube 2 to cover the white primer in tube 1. After the disappointing results from this new product, I decided to try L'oreal Voluminous Original Waterproof Mascara. That product is even Worse! Clumpy, smudgy and certainly not waterproof. I will be looking towards another cosmetic company waterproof mascara. So disappointed.

I have been a loyal customer using red and white tube. Saw this wanted to try cause of wand thought it would be the same. It’s not. Smudging bad and makes my eyes water and burn. Very disappointing going back to the red and white tube at least it doesn’t smudge and burn. Sorry but very disappointed in the trash it goes money not well spent

This new formula is the worst. Iv been wearing L’Oreal’s Voluminous X-Fiber for years which keep in mind it took me years to find the right mascara which I found in the original formula and now it’s discontinued. Welp, I guess I’m discontinuing this company altogether because to be honest, this was the best mascara your company had hands down! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! I could see adding on to the collection but obviously from the reviews, this new crap IS NOT IT!!!!

This mascara looks AMAZING. It add so much length and volume. It’s not clumpy. The problem is it smudges terribly. Even in combination with setting spray. I have to add black powder eyeshadow to my lashes after applying, then setting spray, and make sure my eye are is well powdered just to not end up like a raccoon and hour later and even still it smudges.

When this was in the purple container it was absolute perfection. The primer was black not white and it lengthened and colonized AND held the curl in my lashes until I took it off, easily with the blue waterproof makeup remover wipes. This new version in the silver tube is trash. The white primer is worthless, it gives raccoon eyes, doesn’t lengthen or volumize and my lashes are straight and thinner like it’s worn off at the end of the day and somehow what’s leftover is harder to remove? Don’t waste your money.

the tube had 2 # 1 sides listed. Smudges terribly. I had to go buy another mascara the was waterproof and make sure the sides were labeled correctly.

Primer was almost completely dried out. It did not spread evenly it did not spread hardly at all the mascara itself. It clumped. It was not black as black. It overall just really sucked. Very disappointed in L'Oreal this time
