A: About 500 feet on direct mode. It can also connect via WiFi and work where ever WiFi is available in your home. Once you connect to WiFi it goes in auto mode where it switches between WiFi and direct.

I don't recommend.
I like the option of colors for a night light and clear picture. What I don’t like is that the sound is terrible. I cannot hear my daughter and she says I cut out when I talk to her. I can’t get the monitor to stay on, it automatically goes to sleep mode. Lastly, it doesn’t pan. I guess I didn’t look when buying, but I assumed that all monitors do in 2024 along with looking at the parent device and the arrows make it look like you can scroll across the room.

Second Camera Wont Connect
We bought this baby monitor specifically for the 2 camera option. Annoyingly, the second camera will not connect to the monitor. It worked for a short period of time then disconnected. We have tried to reach out to Leap Frog and have not been successful reconnecting the second camera. We will have to buy an extra monitor which defeated the purpose of this purchase.

Camera does not adjust from monitor
Everything about this seems great, but we couldn't get the camera to move from using the monitor. After calling customer service, we found the camera is only manually adjusted. To me, that is a major oversight, so we will be returning. We have a mobile toddler in a toddler bed as well as baby coming soon that we want to keep tabs on from another room. I would have thought that that one feature would be standard in 2023. Apparently you have to check for monitors to have "pan and tilt" functionality. We also had issues with the monitor disconnecting from the camera and difficulty re-pairing in the one day that we were trying to use it.

I liked how clear the camera was and the large area it covered…But it does not hold a charge overnight also if my sons machine goes off it alerts me after it’s sound is delayed …and volume isn’t loud enough…

Great monitor but stopped working
I loved this baby monitor but after 3weeks of use I had to return it because the monitor device just stopped working, none of the buttons worked (not touch screen) and the reset button wouldn’t reset the monitor. Very strange. Thinking to order again, maybe it was a bad monitor. Other than that very nice and the camera are clear. I love that I can log in through my phone n look at my twins when I’m not home.

Best monitor out there.
This is the best monitor out there! I had an owlet before and it required wifi but would always take forever to load and would constantly disconnect. This monitor is very smooth and I have had no issues with it disconnecting or anything. Plus I can see her from the app as well so I can peek in on her when I’m not home and she’s with my husband. 😆 Love all the extra features and that I can talk to my daughter through the app. I’m due next month and will have 2 under 2 so it’ll be great to see both of them at the same time. Way better than some of the more expensive ones out there!

Great baby monitor!

The love being able to log in to the app and use the monitor on my phone when I am outside or at a neighbor's house. I like being able to switch between cameras and having a side-by-side view. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the nightlight can get glitchy and will blink instead of having a smooth color.

I actually paid for the monitor
This monitor is so cheap for the price. The camera doesn’t move, and the speaker is really, really bad. I’m pretty sure we have $10-$20 toys with better speakers. We can’t even understand what our kid is saying.

Disconnects constantly
The picture quality and the width of view was amazing. However it had to be returned after 1 use because it constantly loses connection. No matter how we troubleshot (company never called me back from their customer service line), changed mode between wifi/direct connect…we’d get it working, then one or the other camera would just go dark. With a beep alert in the middle of the night to wake you to tell you it was dysfunctional. Totally useless. Also, had to press multiple buttons to toggle between 2 cameras which is not convenient.

The picture quality is amazing and the color night vision is the coolest. This monitor has some very neat features that can help ease your mind. It has two-way talk and even has a temperature and humidity sensor. The parent unit display is good to have and has a large, clear screen and a long battery life. The app is free, easy to navigate and has some helpful features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This baby monitor has beautiful image quality on the monitor. I can see my child’s entire room and everything isn’t just a blur. The parent viewer battery life is lasts all night long without being plugged in. Unfortunately, the receiver doesn’t reach very far. I live in a 1200 sq ft house and the signal doesn’t reach to one of my bedrooms. I wouldn’t recommend this monitor for a larger home.
