Learning Resources Smart Snacks Stack \'Em Up Doughnuts

Don’t know if I purchased this for my granddaughter or her donut-lover mom, but what a delicious take on the old-school donut stacking toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Preschool teacher of 3 years I would purchase items for my room from Learning Resources! I was elated when I stumbled across the brand! The children and I equally enjoyed learning and wondering with the help of these wonderful toys. Now that I have a niece and nephew, I always purchase something for their development come birthdays and holidays. I received the product and was slightly disappointed with the design of the product. On the website & packaging the colors are bright and vibrant and unfortunately the real thing is very much muted in comparison. The sprinkles weren't painted very well, the icing lacks color in general and the dough of the donut itself is much darker than displayed; the colors are more dark brown and black than the brown and tan as shown. I do wish the product was more colorful and appealing but I truly love the product regardless, and know my niece will love it as well, playing and stacking and learning! I will continue to buy many, many things from Learning Resources. (I wish I could provide pictures, but it is currently wrapped and on it's way to the birthday girl in the mail)

Did not actually use the product, but rather, bought it as a baby shower "donut themed" gift. It looked very nice along with my other donut themed items - handmade burp cloths made out of donut patterned fabric, the book, "If You Give a Dog a Donut," and a Dunkin' Donuts gift card for mom and dad that was attached to a bib that read, "Treat Yo' Self."

My grandkids both got one for Christmas and they loved it right away. Played with it over and over again

I am using this in our church nursery infant room. It is great toy to practice fine motor skills and visual discrimination between sizes. It is definitely sturdier than the old fashion Fisher Price version. I can also see it's life being extended into play food as the child grows.

I have been working on colors with my 2 year old and I thought this toy would be great for him. He loves it and it has really helped with color recognition, size recognition, and has helped develop his eye-hand coordination skills. It's so much fun and when he's done stacking them...he loves to pretend to eat them! Even my 6 year old loves to play with them. It's so cute and a lot of fun! **I received the product free of charge in order to do an honest review.**

I got this particular toy for my 2 year old niece who suffers with some serious medical problems and was in the hospital. She could have toys in there but they had to be quiet toys and small in size. This set was perfect for her and she loved it! It is bright, colorful, durable and is giving her hours upon hours of fun. I would say that it is best for little girls although there is nothing wrong with little boys enjoying it too! Great product!

All four of our children, ages 18 months through 8 have been enjoying this toy. It's eye catching colors/doughnut look is a great spin on the classic stacking toy. It feels durable and there are no little pieces to worry about. I love products that are so simple but help with important skills (dexterity). *I received a sample in exchange for my honest opinions.
