Underrated
Genuinely a great experience guiding through the process of the actual building. Might be slightly repetitive at times but its normal for an architect set.

Adult Lego Sets
All kits are fun to build but adult sets are more challenging and more interesting themes. I build them to help keep my mind sharp.

Fantastic build
This was the first set that I have done from the architecture line. It was not a disappointment at all. Learning about the cathedral during the build from the manual was neat. You get such a sense of pride when completing sections of the cathedral. My imagination would wander and think of what it must have been to be a part of the actual build. This set is perfect for any collection.

Fantastic Edition to Lego Architecture
Notre dame was the first architecture set I’ve ever gotten, and it surprised me how high quality the build was. It felt like you were a (let’s just say) 13th century architect that built the cathedral step by step throughout time. The facts in the book about the cathedral were great pieces of information about the build as well. The way you build the cathedral brick by brick has a satisfying building, and you see the symmetry of it at full scale. The only problem I hav with this set was the little lack of stability I faced during the build, meaning that certain legos wouldn’t snap together good and wouldn’t work well. Overall, this set was a high quality and has a history buff, it is very recommended. 10/10

Disappointing
I was excited to build this set but by bag 3 I was missing pieces. I have the Titanic and didn't have one missing piece, so it was disappointing that I had several missing pieces in this set. The pieces don't feel like they go together, some were so hard to snap together it was ridiculous and others barely held together. I dropped a piece inside and there was no easy way to get it out, without taking half of it apart. We turned it upside down and never got the piece out because as soon as we moved it, so many pieces fell off as soon as you touch them, I'm not sure how I'm going to clean this. I wish I would have paid closer attention to the specifications because it's so small, the Model T is almost as big. If this was the first set I ever put together, it would be my last. I worked all day on it today just so I could be done and over with it.

We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues with the sturdiness of your build. You might want to try the LEGO Builder app to zoom in on smaller details. You'll want to make sure that each part is positioned exactly as shown in the instructions and that everything is pressed together firmly. If you’d like a hand troubleshooting the build, feel free to reach out at LEGO.com/Service, we’re happy to help!

Beautiful but totally unstable
This is a beautiful piece, but it’s very unstable. To begin with the base is too flimsy for such a heavy delicate building. The pieces continually far off if you lift it or move it in anyway. Not worth the cost.

The set is beautiful and very intricate. My wife loves it. There were some repetitive parts that she found a bit frustrating, but overall a great set.

Buy it, it's brilliant
I was asked by my adult kids what I'd like for Christmas 2025 and having just visited the restored original in Paris in September 2025, I said Lego Notre Dame. It was great to build. The assembled kit looks like a scale model rather than a Lego kit. The only glitch was two small parts - one supporting base for a flying buttress, and one external trim piece that holds a pointed element, were missing, despite most bags have extra parts, so I ordered replacements and Lego sent them without charge. Fortunately, during the assembly, I was able to finish building the model before the replacements came. Now it's perfect.

Great!
I love building all the places I’ve traveled to. So this was a treat. I do which we could get both side views when places pieces around something just to make sure positions are correct. But over great fun
