Amazing Set!
This set is so much fun! The build is engaging, the minifigs are fantastic, and playing the DnD one shot campaign is amazing! We need more DnD sets asap!

Great fun
For the most part, this set has it all: a wonderful and varied building experience, brilliant use of color, exceptional details, and plenty of play features. My only real complaint is that some spaces that are not modular really ought to have been, especially the ooze cave and the prison tower. A few more non-skeleton mini figures would have been nice as well, either as enemies or as additional player character options.

Adventure Awaits
Really enjoyed the build and the end result. The minifigs are wonderful to use as they come or to mix into your collection and make unique characters. The beasts are well done and the overall set provides a great backdrop for hours of playtime. My older son even came over to join in which never happens. It's my favorite build in a while.

Came for the dragon, stayed for the build
I collect most LEGO dragons so had to buy this set. But man did it surprise me with all the details. Sooo many details and hidden "gems". You have to get this and build it!

Tons of Fun
I got this for my husband as his gift when he returned from a deployment. It's his favorite set. It's gotten our daughter interested in D&D and she got to help build it!

Amazing Build
Excellent and imaginative. I hope they do more of these sets. For 300+ it could have included a D20 like the one shown on the box. Otherwise it’s really a fun build, slightly delicate compared to similar builds. The dragon is everything. We added the mini figures that were sold separately to flesh it out.

Roll for Insight!
The Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale is a great LEGO Ideas/D&D set, jammed pack with lore from the Forgotten Realms to expected LEGO charm and wit sprinkled throughout. My only nitpick is the sizing for the In Plain Sight Inn wish it was a bit bigger than the standard, including certain sections of the build that if you so choose; can use this set as a actual D&D game (Red Dragon’s Tale adventure book sold separately.) and that’s great but I do understand if it was any bigger we’d be spending more than the price listed.

Awesome Build
This Dungeons & Dragons LEGO set is insanely detailed and super fun to build. The monsters and creatures are awesome, and it’s easily my favorite fantasy-themed set so far. I added an aftermarket lighting kit, and it took the whole thing to the next level — now it looks like a real D&D scene. It even got me more interested in the game and the whole D&D subculture. Highly recommend!

Phenomenal set! A real must-have for D&D fans!
Absolutely fantastic set! Really fun to build, and gorgeous to look at. I’ve added the D&D mystery mini figures to my little display, and a couple extra flowers from the botanical sets. Proudly sat next to some of my D&D stuff. I absolutely adore this set, and I really hope LEGO create more Dungeons and Dragons sets in the future!

The Red Dragon’s Tale hits the spot
I bought myself the Red Dragon’s Tale as a treat and I wasn’t disappointed! The various stages of the build allowed for a variety of different styles of area, from tavern to meadow to wizards tower, there were some lovely bits of engineering and I love the various D&D classic creatures that have been represented in the set. Then to really finish it all off, there is an adventure that goes alongside the set using everything in it! I’m really impressed and found it really well thought out. It even had suggestions for how to play without rules for those that aren’t D&D players, which was a nice touch. It’s just a shame that the set of minifigures that came out in 2024 aren’t still available as they add a host of new characters that give the adventure more options! I really hope that there are more releases I connected to D&D, some sets connected to Honour Among Thieves would be especially appreciated, but any sets to make up a dungeon or other adventure would be very cool!

Hours of fun
Just finish building this wonderful d&d set. From the moment I opened the set it was a great building experience. The set comes together really well and when complete looks great. There so much pleasure in playing with this set and I would recommend getting the d&d guide and some extra figures to enjoy it even more. My favorite lego set so far for play ability.

Dungeon and Dragons
A very cool set that has a long of unique builds. I really love the variety of minifigures and monsters. There are also alot of neat easter eggs hidden throughout the set that are definitely in the spirit of DnD. Plenty of hidden treasures, secret doors, and deadly traps in this set.

WE NEED MORE!
I am a father of four teenage kids and run a monthly RPG game with my kids and their friends. This set, along with the blind pack D&D figures have added so much fun to the campaign. Please keep them coming! The build was a joy for the group to complete. Their are four books included and each kid got to build their own part and then combine it all. It only took about 4 hours to complete, but that was with lunch break and chatter. Was a pleasure to get them off their phone for awhile and reconnect. This was my first lego purchase as an adult for myself and I am very much looking forward to more sets of this caliber.

I love D & D and just recently got back into legos. This was an absolute blast to build. So many hidden things in this build. Instructions were spot on.
