Q: Do the light controls turn off after so many seconds like our Levoit core mini does? I love that feature on our Levoit core mini so you don't see a light glowing all night.

A: The Vital 200S features a display off button that disables all display lights. This unit also features a Light Detection function that detects the room's brightness and adjusts accordingly to the ambient light (this feature can be turned on/off through the app). Q: Does this model has a washable filter?

A: The Washable Pre-Filter should be cleaned every 2–4 weeks to increase efficiency and extend the life of your filter. You can clean the pre-filter using a soft brush or vacuum hose to remove hair, dust, and large particles. Optionally, you can wash the pre-filter with water and a mild detergent to remove dirt and dust (please ensure the filter is completely dry before placing back into the air purifier). The main filter should be replaced every 12 months.

This air purifier is great! We have 2 dogs and we don’t want our home to smell like it! We have loved the air purifier over the past few weeks. We love pet mode and being able to see the air quality on the app on our phone. The air purifier is aesthetically pleasing and is not loud. I like the night mode that dims the lights when it senses low light. We also have a Dyson air purifier in our bedroom, and honestly I prefer the Levoit.
Clean Air! I like how it gives you feedback about the air quality. It seems very sensitive to subtle changes and will automatically adjust to make the air safe.

Impressed with the unit. We had some work done in our bathroom, replacing the ceiling light fan with a larger one. The purifier was in the living room, it detected bad air when the ceiling was opened and automatically increased the fan and worked to make the air healthy again.

Excellent product. I immediately noticed an improvement in air quality after setting it up next to my cats litter box. The dust in the air is no more. The quiet / night mode is very quiet and I barely notice it is running even when standing right next to it.

The air purifier works great. Their management by cell phone stinks. the VE Sync app doesn't even see my Levoit purifier and now it also says my Levoit humidifier can't connect. What trash!!!!! Best to find a brand that really has a good cell phone app. VESync that Levoit uses is absolutely worthless in my opinion.

This is our 3rd 200S purchase, it is replacing an older 131 model that died due to a power surge/lightning strike close by. This model is great due to the "PET" setting, our German Shepherd does shed year round, we also like the light detection and auto mode.

This is my first air purifier. It’s quiet until high speed fan turns on, which isn’t often. We live in Florida so pollen can be heavy. I also have a dog. So far so good. I haven’t looked at filter yet as it’s been just a month. I’m hoping it will help with dust, dander etc.
