LG 55 Inch G5 Series OLED evo 4K UHD Smart webOS TV with One Wall Design (2025)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the OLED65G56LS for 3 months and it is by far the best television I have had. I reviewed a large number of televisions before purchasing, including all new televisions from all the main companies but in the end I went for 65" LG and I could not be happier, the picture quality is excellent, 4K movies are striking and at times appear to have a 3D effect even though I know it is not a 3D television. When it comes to color, there is nothing negative I can say, I watched 4K demo clips on You Tube and the colors just popped and were so vibrant. I am a 73 year old pensioner and this is the first product I have felt deserved a 10 out of 10 review.

Bought this TV 2 weeks ago. So glad I did. It’s a beautiful and functional TV, with great resolution, display and refresh rate. It has a new TV mount that enables it to sit flat against the wall, yet the TV can be pulled out from the wall for access to ports and cleaning. Love this! Thanks LG!

I’m absolutely loving my new LG G5 OLED. The picture quality is breathtaking — bright, colorful, and detailed even in my bright living room. Movies in Dolby Vision and HDR really come alive, and the blacks are perfect without losing shadow detail. I paired it with my Apple TV and everything just works seamlessly. Even after long hours of daily use, the panel runs cool and consistent. It feels like a true premium TV that’s built to last.

The picture quality is absolutely stunning — deep blacks, vibrant colors, and super sharp details. I have had the LG B1 and LG C1 which I thought that their pictures were good, but this LG G5 is on a different level. No matter what type of picture you are watching (HD, SD HDR or Dolby Vision) the picture is superb. I particuarly like the AI personalised picture wizzard which adjusts the picture setting by giving you a series of picture examples to choose from. Highly recommended TV

Watching movies or streaming shows feels way more immersive now. The screen size fills the room in the best way, and even regular HD content looks upgraded on it. The size feels just right. Not too big and not too small. From about 8 to 10 feet away, it gives that home theater vibe without making the space feel crowded. Once it’s mounted, it looks clean and really pulls the room together. The smart TV features work smoothly. Apps open fast, the remote is simple to use, and the interface is easy to figure out. I didn’t need to connect any extra devices, which made things really convenient. The wall mount that comes with it is solid and holds the TV securely. It took a little effort to get everything aligned just right, but once it was up, it looked really clean on the wall and saved a lot of space. The built-in sound is actually better than I expected. It’s clear and loud enough for daily use. If you’re really into deep bass or cinematic sound, a soundbar might help, but for casual watching, it works just fine. If you're looking for a big-screen TV that’s easy to set up and delivers great quality, this one’s a solid choice. It looks good, works great, and fits perfectly into any modern space.
